I got a call from the same Daryl King only he used a Missouri number which is where live. Threating me that two officers will come to my place of employment or home to deliver a summons if i do not respond within 24hrs. Telling me there is fradulent activity used with my SSN#. This is a SCAM!!!. I just deleted the message.

Well, I just got another phone call at work. This one for case QP215771, put with a new phone #: 414 882 2174. So far now I now have 2 case #'s & 4 phone #'s.  I am getting so tired of all this.  If I could reach thru the phone, I would probably punch someone's lites out.

Since relpy last week, I've got more calls. And a new development. I now have 2 case #'s.  Here is the phone #'s so far: 10/7/13   843 531 9274, case #QP34595, 10/14/13 208 391 7727 case#QP215771, 302 861 5036 case #QP34595.  The new message: "There are 2 charges against you, etc"  When will these people stop!!!!!

received a recorded message on my cell phone for someone named Daniel about being sued, but received a call from a different number same recorded message on my work phone about fraud and suit.

Some just called me just now and said the same thing and I try to call it back but nobody pick up and the Voicemail was full.

I recieved the same call for the last two weeks first the woman called with a different persons name and with the case number Qp37750 , i called and told them they had the wrong number. Then Monday Oct.7 they called me in my old name , because i was married before, so i looked up the number and i saw that many other people had gotten calls from this same number. Then today i recieved another phone call but this time from a different number but same voice different file number QP14372 , i was instructed by a sheriff of my county to contact them back and ask them for information .So i did and the man kept asking me to verify my social security # when i asked him who he was , and who was working for he said a law firm, when i asked for the name and address he began to get upset with me and told me i just needed to pay my debt and when i told him that i contacted the sheriff and the FBI , he got mad at me and told me i had no right to contact them. Then i asked him why he contacted me from 3 different phone numbers he got offensive and indicated that he is allowed to have three cell numbers , then i stated that why would a legit business have their workers calling from a cellphone , he got even madder at me and stated that a company can have many numbers from different states so itold him that they would be contacted by the sheriff and FBI and if he would like he can speak to the sheriff right in front of me, he got angry and hung  up. So yes i believe this is a scam. I was told if they do mail me a summons to bring the letter in and they would verify if its legit.

I've gotten 2 calls at home, 1 at work & they even called by sister in law about me.  This is just crazy.  I called them & they wanted my ss#. When I wouldn't give it, the guy quoted the last 4 digits: they were correct!.  When I asked what this was all about, he stated that under law, he couldn't discuss it with me, unless I id myself.  I told him that I would have to call the FBI in ref to this, because he wouldn't answer any of my questions & he quickly hung up.  I have already called the States Attorney here in Md & they refered me to the FBI & the FTC.  FBI told me that they are a scam & to tell them I don't owe anything & to stop calling. Couldn't call FTC, because they are closed.

Ok I got this call last week and they asked for Mauel Rodrigez (sp) so I called them and gave them the case number and they apologized and said they would take my name off of the list. Then they called today and gave a case number QP33120 about a case from 2006. When I called the first time they refused to verify the debt by mail only email...I'll be damned if I give them that, refused to give me their address, and the first girl gave me the company name as AMG which is a debt collector I think. She was very rude and I was insisting that they give me mailed proof of this debt, and all they said was that the process server was going to the courthouse AS WE SPEAK oh my..so when I said to them they cannot threaten to go to my place of work if I do not pay and that was against the law, they said Oh that was the process server that said that not us...yes of course. Also, they  have to be able to provide verification of the debt, and not an invoice. The second man was just as rude. His name was Walter Stevens,and he said he did not care if I wanted to pay them or not because I was going to go to jail (really?). sadly I did not get to record them but the next time I am going to say to them that I am recording and that they will run like the rats they are.

The debt is over 7 years old and in pay the Statue of Limitations is 4 years!! It was for a quick payday loan that I do not ever recall getting.

There is no Arbitration Management that I can find in the Internets, and there is certainly no one by that name in South Carolina.  AMG I found a case against pertaining to PayDay Loans and American Indians or something and the case was about illegal debt collection practices (just like the ones they threaten on the calls, about going to your job, jail, arrest etc). I feel pretty comfortable with rolling the dice on this one since it is past the SoL and they sound like a bunch of hot air. Plus, if they cannot give me the same information twice in a row...

got messages from 843 531 9274...same complaint as others, fraud activity tied to my ss#, etc etc..I finally called back today, gave the gal who answered the case number left on my answering machine QP35449, advised no one by the name of John tied to my 2 phone numbers..asked for my numbers, said she would take them off their list....(they have been calling daily for about a week) let's see what happens!

I received several of these calls. Do NOT call them back. Call your local better business bureau. Also most phone companies use a simple call block system. As soon as you hang up  from the harassing call do the following,  With A T & T just dial *60, then type # 0 1#. That number will be blocked from calling you indefinitely. You may have to hang up and then dial *60 again then push 3, this will activate the block service. If you do not use A T & T just check with your phone service provider. You can usually check this information at your phone provider's website. :-)

Received several calls from this number regarding a legal matter .... Then received another call from another bogus number using the same case #..... How about I just give their number to my lawyer and sue them.

I keep getting a call from this number also 843-531-9274 and they call my mothers number. There asking for me under another number name, I got married 5 years ago.  My mom keep telling me to call them back, when I call ed them she said was from the Legal dept and I asked her from what company and she said AG and her name was Ms. Hinderson.  When I google AG, I get a medical company coming up.  When the lady wanted me to give her my SS number and I wouldn't, she said when I wanted to talk to call back and hung up on me.

I am send a message to the FTC and the attorney generals office.

I just got this same exact call and said I would be served papers for fraudulent activity. I called the number back and no one answered, but I'm glad I saw this to know its a scam.

I got a call from a number 843-531-9274 saying that I owe a debt,says it's from the police department...what a waste..I cursed them out so bad they hung-up...lol..

I got a call from this company trying to get money from me on a debt that I do not owe.   They were rude and would give out no information and demanded that I pay a debt of 1711, then reduced to 843, then reduced to 575....or I was going to court.   Would not let me speak to a supervisor or the owner.

That's the exact same message I just received - on my phone at work. It was a recording that kept stating a name that wasn't mine & another woman spoken in between. Told me if I didn't call the legal department before receiving the summons all writes would be terminated...

I got the same message to. The same thing happened to me last August when someone was calling with bogus charges. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO PLEASE!!

I received the same information.  I am just wondering how did they get my cell phone number and what can be done about this?  I am going to report this call to the NC Attorney Generals Office.  I am so tried of people always trying to get their hands on your hard earned money.  They need to get a JOB and get a LIFE.

I too got a threatening call with a case number with a payday loan that was paid years ago! under a closed acct. Saying I was going to be served papers from 2006! Im sorry but it has to be a scam right?

Ah yes - this is a huge scam. Do not respond to them, or answer and play along for a while to get as much informatin as possible - whatever you do do not send them any money. Remember nobody calls you before serving you any kind of summons - process servers just show up - and you certainly do not lose any of your legal rights if this happens. If possible record the calls. If/when the shutdown is over report to the FTC, as of right now your state Attorney General is a good place to start.

Yup I got the EXACT same phone number calling me AND my mother last week. I went to file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry BUT they are non operational.. two weeks ago they called with the same BS from a number out of Seattle. Same recording. I blocked the number but as soon as the government gets it together I will be filing a complaint, this has actually been happening to be for years from an array of numbers as soon as my credit is ran.

I too received a message that i was being summoned due to fraudulent charges i made completely untrue such a scam, i honestly feel bad for those who prey on others imagine if i was a senior that didnt know to lookinto these kinds of things
