I also received a call from 254-449-8541(WACO, TX)  and he left a message telling me that he was showing up to my door tomorrow from 12pm - 2pm. He had my correct address, and name. He told me to call 844-232-0493 as well. I already knew this was a scam, but I called anyway for fun. I got him on the phone, and he said I owed money to a credit card that was paid off about 5 years ago. I pay all my bills, and I know that i'm currently caught up on the rest. So i'm not sure how he got this information, maybe these credit card companies sell your information to these scammers?

Anyway, he said i owed $788.62 and i had two options. One was 4 monthly payments, or the other was a one time payment of $444.31. So i said to him, okay sounds good, can you please send me a certified letter, with those options and i'll review them and make my decision. He then got all jittery and said "Well we can only email you the option you choose, and it has to be settled over the phone right now with a credit or debit card." HAHAHA I just laughed and said, okay buddy nice try. Everyone knows if they are being sued, they will get some sort of court order and it will be a certified letter, in the mail. Give me a f****ng break. I said once you send me something in writing, ill make my decision. He goes "Well the only thing I can say to you then is good luck." How is this legal to harass people?  I almost want to call back and make believe im the police.

I recieved a call from a man speaking extremely fast, which left a voice message. He stated someone elses name (male) and I am a (female) he stated that he will be comming to my job and home,  please have a supervisor to accompany me and please be available between 12-3pm to sign off on documents with 2 forms of ID, that a courier( did not leave a name of the buiness) would be in the area. He called from this number 254-449-8541(WACO, TX) and left two of the same messages. He also stated that if I did not comply other actions will be made. He left a number of 844-232-0493 to call the person sending the documents  or for whomever to sign. First of all I am not the person they are looking for and I don't have any bills owed or in collection status. I am now going to block the number from calling on my phone cell.  oh yeah. his ending statment was BE AVAILABLE.   ( NOT!)

Debt Collector
I received a similar call as above and when i called to find out what it was about the people told me it was a sue. I asked what for and they said that I needed to pay a settlement account of $975 before tomorrow or i would be sued. They later changed that number to $615 which made me suspicious. I told them i would have to investigate on my end and I did. I called the so called credit card company that was suing me and they said that my account was paid and closed awhile ago. This number is a scam. do not fall for it or give out any information.

Received a call stating that I needed to be home the following day between 3-5 with 2 forms of ID and a witness to sign some papers. Stated his name was Jose Vasquez and that he was a courier for Ross County, which my address is, however I actually live in another county. I'm sure he looked up address and assumed it was the county I lived in. What he don't know is: yes, it's a Ross county address and a Ross county phone number, but I actually live in the neighboring county.
