Didn't get a call, but apparently the shysters at Terrenonni and Hassett Associates sent a form to my former employer asking for my employment information. I know that there are some scammers who hacked some of my information (phone numbers, employer name and address, etc.) from an online loan application I filled out several years ago. Every 6 months or so a new scammer rears his ugly head, claiming I took a loan and never repaid it. They always threaten legal action. I had one even threaten to have officers come and arrest me on the job. I replied that if they did that, then I would likely be fired and they would NEVER get the money they claimed that I owe.

At any rate, the HR person at my former job emailed me and asked if I had ever heard of this "company". When I started researching, and found this "business" to be five months old and apparently run out of an In-town Suites hotel, I called her and told her to destroy the form. They are just on a phishing expedition.

Terrenonni and Hassett is definitely the name of this company. they have these old accounts that are noncollectable that these people bought:
The owners of Vision Assets are Michael Kowalic and Angela Burdolf. Borela Investments is also owned by Angela Burdolf she furnish the company with the paper that they collect on. Deb Maloney was a business partner with Angela but don't believe that they are still partners don't let them get you!!!!!

Deborah Maloney is a junk debt collector who runs a Buffalo, New York based paper-mill, churning out junk debt claims faster than spinning off a roll of toilet paper. She makes threats anyways to give credence of validity in hopes consumers pay. She operates this "law firm" at 94 Jarvis Street in Fort Erie, Ontario CANADA L2A 2S4 (local contact 905-991-8405) across the border from Buffalo, New York.

More research done and I found that the owners, principles are John Childs and Brian Ivey!  Hmmm makes you wonder who these scammers really are!

Look:   You NEVER send anything by the postal service  because that's the way the debtor would gain access to your physical location.   The debtor might send cease and desists orders to you.    

Which again, is why you scammers almost never use the postal service.  

One more reason why you don't use the postal service:   Postal Inspectors.   Yeah, Postal Inspectors--they might take an interest in what exactly you are using the US mails for.  

They might see what you do as a form of mail fraud.
