I got a call from a restricted number saying his name is Kenneth Moreland from division 1 currior services on behalf of Goldburg Slone & Associates and that I need to call them in order to stop the summons that's going to take place on Friday May 21, 2014. So I call them and they tell me that I took out a loan online and this company is going after me for what is owed, I told them to so shove it and if they call me again I will call the local police

I had a message on my voice mail at home from Ashley Grahm stating that someone I know is going to be served at work tomorrow if they don't get in touch with her (actually, my sister in law) as soon as possible.  That to consider this to be notified.  She's from Goldberg, Sloan & Associates at (844) 432-7787.  I called and spoke to a gentleman first. He wouldn't transfer me to Ashley Grahm. He said he can relay a message.  She never lived here.   He said they got my information from my sister in law.  So after thinking about it, I called again and spoke to Ashley's supervisor Heather.  She knew who I was and she had my father in laws information too. Told me the same story.  I made a statement like, "good luck with that". She said she will forward that statement to their clients and hung up in me.  Where did they get our information if this is indeed a scam?

Received several calls from a guy named luke something or other. i called a number a special investigator left with a freind of mine, how they got her number i dont know. He was trying to push me to give him a secured acct info for payments. I asked him to email me proof of debt. He did not. I called after i was fairly certain it was a scam, to speak with this luke gentelman. someone named steve feilded the call. i informed him i had filed with the ftc and i was not willing to entertain their threats at all.  30 seconds later i got a call from a "private number". it was luke sure enough. Saying if i didnt cooperate with them i would go to jail, etc. If i do, i do. Screw them.

I just received a call from man stating that he was an investigator and that he was going to deliver a summons to my work.  It seems that this is a scam. Did anyone ever call the number back?

I just got a call from an asley grahm claiming to be serving me papers for my place of employment; thanks to the others on this site for the warning.

I too received the same call from this Kennedy person and did not say who they were calling for. They gave the same exact info, I tried to call back and advise the, but was unable to get through. The number they said to call is 844-432-7787, beware!!

I received a call from 'Maria' at 844-432-7787. She said she was with a 'legal defense' business called 'Goldburg & Associates'.
She asked me to have a friend of mine to give her a call but could not say why. I did an internet search and found that this number is associated with many complaints including scams. They are accused of threatening you about any of your unpaid credit accounts and tell you they will come to your place of work and serve you papers. Even though I have a 'private' phone line, they disregard that and called anyway. Being dishonest people that is what you would expect. isn't it? Note: These people use various toll free numbers and may call on other lines, so beware that there is more than just one number they use. Please report them to the FTC when you get any calls like this.

I received a call from Tim Kennedy an investigator who had a summons and complaint for Julie Maxwell I'm not Julie), and the summons also included a wage execution order 679-280.  To stop the summons, Julie (who is not me) needed to call Goldberg, Sloan and Associates at 844-432-7787.  If not, Tim would show up at the Julie's place of employement with the summons.

I felt sorry for Julie because clearly she wasn't going to receive this message, as it had been left on my voicemail instead of Julie's.  when I tried to call the number to explain the mix-up the number was bogus, and so I researched Goldberg, Sloan and Associates, which lead me to this site.  Beware.
