Funny how all of our complaints are within the same time frame...hmmm next time I hear about these people I'm turning them into the police.

Debt Collector
My mother and our close friend have both been calling us telling us about these people, and I spoke with this Jeremy Price and a John Jacobs (how generic- "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt") once myself.  He told me that we owed a bunch of money and that he needed a payment within 24 hours.  I keep track of my debts and nothing met the criteria he was providing.  When I asked what it was for he wouldn't tell me and just kept giving me the run around.  I ended up telling him I didn't have any money and he said he'd have to follow through with the law suit then and I said fine and hung up.  A little while after that we had 3 people at our door knocking for an hour, we didn't answer but sat and listened to their conversations.  There were 2 men and a woman, we heard them having general conversation and threaten to call the police or break down our door.  When they gave up we saw them get into a white truck and floor it through our apartment complex parking lot.  After a while they gave up calling.  Now it's a year later and our friend just informed us again that he's getting voicemails from "Investigator Sanders" and she needs to speak with us urgently due to a bad check that was written by us.  One, this friend was never used as a reference for any of our financial matters, two, we haven't used checks for anything but rent and the last check we wrote was in 2010 (we don't bank anymore).  She said that it was serious and we could get in a lot of legal trouble, she was trying to scare him into giving her our contact information (he didn't fall for it though).  We haven't heard from my mom to see if she's being contacted again, though she told them to never call her again or she would report them.  If we were being sued we would have found out last year, and after reading everyone else's experience, I'm certain it's a scam.  We've been told that this company handles debt collections like a criminal would, and so far our experiences seem that way.  Beware of this caller, don't let them fool you or scare you into giving them any information about you or someone you know, you never deal with these people over the phone or in person because it's 100% a scam to get money from you, they cannot provide any details about who you supposedly owe and who they work for, they will harass you on the phone and try to scare you and make you feel like you have to make this disappear, DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! I may call the police or the attorney general, or even my lawyer the next time they call me or anyone I know looking for me.

Debt Collector
I just rec'd. a call, at 11am today (6-2-14), from an "Investigator Sanders" who stated she was trying to reach a relative as she is supposed to serve a "summons" to him for "bad check charges". The caller ID came up as "private caller" so I was not giving any info. She gave me a #844-745-7022 to call & gave a Case#. I asked who the phone # was for & she said "Arbitration". She asked if I was going to contact the relative right now & said I was going to try as I didn't have a contact # (I knew my # had to have been located thru one of those "possible relatives" search sites as my # would not have been used as contact info on any application). After I hung up, I searched the Arbitration # on the internet & determined it was a ruse by a collection company. I called the # & it was answered by Mr. Jeremy Price. I asked for the person (Investigator Sanders/Sanderson) & he said he had no one by that name but if I gave him the info, he could help me. I, again, asked for the person who called claiming she was an investigator who was going to serve a summons &, again, he knew of no such person. I gave him the Case # & proceeded to ask him if he was a collection agency. He said it was an "arbitration company" & became rude & asked "don't you know what an arbitration company is?". Then he accused me of raising my voice(which I didn't & believe me, he would have Known when I raised MY voice) & he wasn't going to continue the call so I hung up before he did.
I called back to see if I could talk to a manager & Mr Price answered again. He said he WAS the manager & I said that once I rec'd that call from his rep saying that she was supposed to serve a summons for the false charges she claimed,  she ended up breaking several laws under the "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act". He said that I wasn't even the person that they were calling about & that he doesn't know the person that I said called me. I said it didn't matter because someone called me looking for that person & if I rec'd another call, the matter would be turned over... (He hung up before I could say "the attorney general").

Jeremy Price called a friend's phone number trying to contact me. I have not stayed with that friend for 7 years! This man left a message about being a process server but for what, I have no idea. I tried calling the phone number & got the voice mail of this Jeremy Price. He does not state what firm he works for but asks for case number which I do not have. No idea.
I did try the internet but only found an attorney who deals with employment litigation. Does not have anything to do with me.
