Today 6/27/14 I got the same creepy call that everyone else is. Muffled man's voice saying he had my name and SSI # on his desk and that he had some court documents on me.  I needed to call the 844-827-6623 number for more information.  I'm NOT calling!!!  
Keep in mind if you call, you've just "confirmed" that the number they've called is a valid number and you'll start getting other calls.  Unfortunately, I answered so hope THAT does not trigger anything.  I did come in as an "Unknown" number on my cell phone.

Got this same message.  Very odd but have not had more.

I listened to this message several times to see if I could actually make out what Michael Wester or Lester was saying, but the message was so garbled that I gave up. I could make out some of the "words," but after reading your post, it sounds a lot like the same message I got. Can't these people get a real job?

I received the same message on a work line.  He doesn't have your information and if he did I am certain he wouldn't be calling to tell you about it. Complete scam.  

Got the call today I don't pick up unknowns and he left the same garbled message. My question is do they really have my social security number and if so is there anything I can do about it?

My daughter received this garbeled message on her cell phone today.  Shouldn't this guy be turned in? He has a phone number, now where is he?  It is way to easy to find phone numbers and personal information now on-line so these type people have no trouble at all doing this type thing.  The sad thing is, he probably finds enough vulnerable people to answer his questions....and then there, he has it!

Tuesday, June 17th at 8:04am this message was left on my answering machine, "Hello, my name is Michael Lester. This message is in regards to some documents that have been placed in my office with your name and social attached. I also have a request to put you on my schedule to sign for some documents to appear in court. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to what you'll be signing for, I can give you the number to the finance office, they should be able to answer any questions that you may have. That number is 1-844-827-6623." Caller ID showed "Out of Area"

Even IF they actually have an account with my name on it, their methods are suspect and I'm not going to call that number.

Also, another website has additional reports of a similar nature, however someone there said they were told "Proficient Mediation Group", which appears to be an actual company. Perhaps Efficient was misheard?

I also received a call from this number . Most debt collectors ask for the debtor by name . he did not .
I clearly seen through this as a scam. to be honest people becarful , what will happen is you will call and they will ask you to verify your social and date of birth. dont fall victim .

Received "unknown" phone number call from same Michael Lester stating that he had court documents that need to be signed in his office and to call this number (Claimant) to obtain all the details of the litigation. His message sounded pre-recorded and never stated my name.

I am going thru credit repair and have had a LOT removed or paid on my report, plus I am on top of the things I owe currently. I am getting calls and  messages from two numbers saying they have court docs for me and that I will be served by the Sherriff at work and arrested if I do not take care of this matter immediately. How can I report these #'s so that they can NO longer contact me, they are starting to call me at work and I just got this position 6 months ago and have NEVER added it to anything.

I got the same creepy, very hard to hear message, from a man saying he received my name and ss# on his desk for me to appear in court. Unknow caller ID, unknown name. Is this legal?

Received a very garbled message from Michael Wester.  He never used my name, but said he had documents with my name and social and a request for him to schedule the court appearance.  He never gave his phone number and it showed as "1 Unavailable" on my caller i.d.  He said I could contact the claimant's office at (844) 827-6623 and they could answer any questions I have.

Received call today from Michael Lester of proficient mediation. Same phone number 844-827-6623, threatening that I need to sign docs and notice to appear in court.

I also received a phone message from this person, who I thought was named Michael Wester, about paper to be signed and court hearings and documents.  I felt pretty sure this was just a scam since he didn't mention any name - as in he didn't say, I am calling for "First Last Name" and would like them to return my call.  Also, who would be so vague about papers, signing, etc.  Complete Scammers.

I have no outstanding warrants, debts or any need to get an attorney.  What do***ebags to try and scam money from hard working americans. Get a real job loosers. I hope you all burn in hell. Spoke to a Mr. Wood and told him I knew this was a scam and he said "Why did you waste your time calling" and hung up on me. What a looser. The number i called was 844-827-6623

I just received a message from the same number. A Michael Lester or Wester stating that he had documents from court for me to sign. After reading these posts I refuse to even try returning the call even to check who the so called company is. Too bad it comes up blocked as I would certainly would block the incoming number so I would not receive any more calls. I think I will look up the federal trade commission now and complain there

Same message as other from Michael Lester.  Previous commenter is right, if someone has court documents for you...they don't call in advance, they just show up.

Got a call from this person name Michael Lester calling about some court documents. First of all if you have court documents you would just show up with them and not warn anyone. Secondly, I know this is a scam to get people's money.

The same Mr. Wood claims to be working for Efficient Meditation.  Instead of bringing up my SSN or DOB, this bum tells me my Yahoo Email.  So told him to email me the documents he was referring to.  Haven't received JACK!

guy says his name is 'mr. wood'.  when I call back, I get a mailbox from 'proficient mediation group', and it sounds like the same guy.  they call me at work when I can't answer, but leave no message.  they never pick up when I call.

Don't bother making coffee for Jean.  You know it is a scam.  This line is used over and over to extort money from unsuspecting persons.
