This number called my cell phone two days in a row at almost 10 PM our time. If this number is originated from NY then this would have been midnight their time. Very strange and irritating. No caller ID, didn't answer call and they didn't leave a message. Will block this number from calling again. I wonder what’s the point of the Do Not Call List if these kinds keep calling anyway.

I answered City Morgue. She started her bull without missing a beat. I again said that this is the City Morge. She said oh and hung up. Was from Marist College...

Called our landline business phone, I answered with the business greeting, a polite woman said "Oh, is this a business? Sorry, wrong number"

Marist College does a political poll that is pretty famous. That said, I'm not sure whether or not they're allowed to be calling us,

I just got a call too, didn't pick up. This is the second random number call I have received today. Do they all have some sort of schedule they call on ? UGH.

A Google search says Marist College is a "private liberal arts colege" on the east bank of the Hudson, near Poughkeepsie, NY. So they do exist. Their "official" phone number is (845) 575-3699, close to this call.
Called me on 23 May at 6:23 PM, Mountain, or 8:23 Eastern.
Student project or prank, who knows?

I posted this on the Marist College Facebook page: Hello. I've been called twice from 845-575-3773. The first time I missed their call. The second time I answered the phone in time. The caller said she was calling on behalf of Marist College for cell phone usage. I had never heard of Marist College since I do not live in your area. I asked her to spell Marist and she said she was not allowed to spell it. And then I asked her if she worked for Marist College or if she worked for another company. Her answer was another company. I asked the name of her company and she hung up! To whomever is running this research study...please train your callers! You need to allow your callers to be transparent to the people you are asking answers from. If you cannot spell Marist College for me and cannot tell me the name of the third party company you work for, I'm not interested in doing your market research.

They just called here. Caller id says marist, college Yes there is an actual comma in there. I never answer numbers I don't know so didn't answer this one. Funny that you all say it's about cell phone usage as I've never had a cell phone, don't plan on having one. They called my landline during a thunderstorm.

They called me saying something college. i did not hear the name of the college. and they wanted me to take part in a survey for cell phone users. i did the whole survey and there wasn't anything sketchy about it. it seemed to be mainly political. they never asked for my name , SSN, or anything. all they asked was what state and county i lived in and how old i was but not like a specific date. that was as detailed as it got other than the political view stuff.

I recieved call from this number. Guy said he was calling from what sounded like Marris Collge. He was conducting poll on cell phone usage. I asked the name of college again and he said what I had heard first time. Then I asked him what this call was about and he said "for security reasons he is not at liberty to say." or something along those lines. Amazing, he calls me on my cell phone and then tells me that. I said, "This call is ended" and hung up. Then I called number back and recording came on saying "thank you for calling the Marris Poll. We appreciate you returning our call for your opinions are greatly important to us. Please leave your name and number. " It might be legit but very stange anyway.
