Call came through my cell.  1010 was on the display, so I did no answer.  The voice message was in halting English for the "Legal Investigation Department".  He said he needed to speak with me asap regarding a criminal matter.  He left the phone number as 845 765 9492.  I did not attempt to return the call.

Couldnt you have gotten police involved if they were harrassing you that long and so frequent? Every two minutes or so for an hour is ridiculous. I would have told them I was going to call the police for harrasment charges and seen what the spaz said next.

I got a call yesterday from these idiots, mainly Robin Wilson with the exact same case number CFI 150781!  So irritating, after I told them I know they are a scam they continued to call me every 2 minutes for 1 hour!  I just kept hanging up on them.  They last time they left a threatening voicemail while I will be saving for future use when I contact the authorities.

Omg, he said he was Bon Jovi? Thats ridiculous!  I havent gotten anymore calls since my husband yelled at him but he has been calling my parents house and jobs threatening them. I dont even know where he got our info from or what he is calling about...still!

I received a similar call, the guy with a heavy accent had all kinds of my information. last 4 of social, first and last name, address but he messed up when he said i was with a bank. I don't have a bank account and haven't had one in 6 years. he gave me the number 720-251-8291 to call him back on. he said i borrowed money from cash net but i don't even know who that is. the "case number" on the so called affidavit was CFI 150781 i googled it because it sounded strange other people have the same "case number" with the same company. Now I'm not a lawyer but i know better than that!!! these are a bunch of crooks &scam artists!

I received another call..this time from "Officer Bon Jovi".....I cannot understand a word he is saying. The number he wanted me to call back on was 720-251-8274...he is making threats. I have contacted the FBI and my local news station. I am calling the Attorney General's office tomorrow. They need to be stopped!

I also got a call from an "Officer Denzil Anderson"...he said I had "a serious issue against me and to call back immediately or God help me". When I wouldn't give him what he wanted and continued to ask him questions, he said he would talk to his "senior officer" and call me back "directly". That was yesterday..haven't heard from him. I will be getting in touch with my local law enforcement and the FBI regarding this.If he calls me back, I will conitnue to ask him questions and if he doesn't answer them, I will let him know I will be in touch with the FBI and Attorney General. I am so sorry this has happened to all of you also.

Holy cow I just had this happen to me!!  Showed up  on my phone as 1019.  Left me a message so I called the guy.  He has SO MUCH information about me it's scary!!  He's got my social, the bank I bank with, name of my best friend and my mom, etc,etc!!  I told him to stuff it and hung up and he called back!!!  it was the "Officer DENZIL ANDERSON" and the number was in Denver (which I thought was weird since i live in C/S) it was 970-344-3001.  How do we stop these idiots!???!?!?!?!

Frustrated: My husband doesnt really know what to do. They are now calling our parents which is so annoying and saying we have either insurance fraud or financial fraud. Its ridiculous. Without knowing who this guy is or having a number to call him back on we are just as frustrated. Sorry I couldnt help you more.

Ive received this call also and this individuals name was Officer ERIC SMITH with the Law and Investigations through Cash Net Marketing From Albany, New York with a heavy Indian accent (from INDIA) the number i received was the same to call back on and like the 20th time of them calling they forgot to block there number or sumthing and it came up as 615-724-7999 and of course its a number thats not in service... wtf are these people stupid were Americans, we know wen sums ones talkn bull sh|t but there making there way furher west FUK

DO NOT ACCEPT A CALL FROM THESE FRAUDS!!!  It shows up as 1010 or 1-1015.  A "Robert Wilson"  (with a middle eastern/Indian accent) left me a voice mail stating he was with the Department of Law Investigation and he urged me to contact them @ 845-765-9492 immediately due to a legal matter.  He also contact a friend of mine on her cell phone early on the same day stating that it was very important to contact me.  I did call back, the individual (not identifying himself) stated that I was being sued and needed information.  I asked them where is he from and he said the Department of Investigation in New York. I asked again what this was about & it changed to someone stole my identity.  I advised that I am uncomfortable with this situation since I never received anything in writing and then he tried to assure me that they've written me via usps & e-mailed.  At that point I advised I will be reporting them.

Just received a call on my cell and work phones.  I did not answer as the caller ID only appeared as "1015" and I do not answer unknown calls.  A voice message was left at both numbers.  A man with a distinctly Asian accent identified himself as "Officer Anderson at Department of Law and Investigation" with a "very important and time sensitive matter for [me]".  He asked me to return his call at 845-765-9492, but it sounded very suspect to me so I looked it up here first.  I will not be calling back.

Wow. Didnt realize this was happening to so many people. This just happened to me today in the same way everyone else is stating, however I am a little worried since they do have my address and social. Anonymous i know you said your husband is an officer what does he recomend with this? I did go to my local police but they werent much help.

Wow...just read the other posts...My husband just got hung up on and he is an ACTUAL officer. LOL Well the guy told him his name was Mike Walters and he got very very nasty with my husband. He would not tell him what the matter was about and then told him that he would tell him what to write and what to do. My husband kept asking what the legal matter was and who the "officer" was that he was talking to and then "Mike" called him stupid and hung up on him. The number given cannot be called, God help this guy if says anything about rape or anything sexual. Message from women strong accent at my work Dept of Law Investigation - with the federal government call my sons and now my work.  Told me not to interupt her - I would not verify information so she told me the affidavit against my social security.  Gave me some case number and told me to call her back when I was ready to listen to her without interupting her - she was very rude.  I'm sure it's against the law to call me at work.

This caller called and said that he was with the department of law and enforcement and that he could not go into further detail but it would be in my best interest to call him back at this number immediately.  He then preceded to call a friend of mine and threaten their life.  Will prosecute if I ever find out who this person is.  He is calling from New York stating he is a law officer, giving the name of Alex Williams, has an arab voice.

this caller said ne was going to rape my wife my daughter  and my mother and i could suck on his genitailia plus he left in on my voice mail so i saved it  i will prosicute to the fullest if we can find out who this is!!!!

got a phone form someone with a very thick accent saying they were Officer Anderson ftom The Department of Law and Investigative service and that I had to call back this number or I would be in serious trouble, and that "only God could help me"  I started to call the number back but decided to google it instead and I found all this info about the number.  It is the same for me!  Never had a payday loan, and now I am not going to call them back.

i received the same call twice already. saying that my name was given as a reference by a friend of mine who owes them money. and i will be subpoenaed if i dont cooperate. she wants me to have my friend call him back because the # has changed and they dont have her new #. i told him why dont u send a police officer to check on her so u can get your money. knowing that they are scammers based in jamaica. i used to lived with this friend who they con in giving them money through western union and money gram. she ended up sending them over $100000+. promising millions in lottery price. i tried to tell her that it was a scam and she didnt beleive me and said i am so skeptical. i told her family about this and they got a financial custody through the court system. she lost alot, not only money but her dignity, self respect and a bad reputation in the community. she started to lie baout anything just to get money from other people and making people who cares about her the bad people who are mistreating her. this is really sad that our own government cant do anything about it because its out of their jurisdiction.
