Had called my cell phone several times, never leaves a message. I am on the Do Not Call list.

I have called repeatedly from this number every day and I'm really tired and wanted to know who it is.

I've gotten a few calls from this number.  It usually happens when I'm busy (in a meeting, etc.) and since the number is not familiar, I don't answer.  They never leave a message.

I am having the same call from this number in my cell.  Is there any way stio that?

Got calls daily starting about 2 weeks ago.  I called the number at CBE,  Told them I had this phone for 4 years and no one named "Cindy Estrada" is at this phone number.

When I called this number it said "CBE Group" and asked me to hold.  Ummmm, no thanks.

Its a number checker.  They confirm the number is a working number if you have failed to respond to attempts from someone elese to contact you.

no one is there when i picked up. then it clicks over to "if you would like to make a call, hang up and try again"

I have been called twice from this number.  They did not leave a message either time.  I did a reverse phone look up at MSN.com and it indicates that this is an unpublished number in Nyack, NY.

This # calls every morning a little after 8am ... never leaves a message ... If they are debt collectors, I'm not sure how efficient it is to call and either hang up or leave no message.   Just ridiculous harassment.

I received 4 calls from them and no messages.  When I did answer the woman tried to verify a name and address, said thank you and hung up on me when she felt she was satisfied that she got an answer to her question.  I didn't tell her anything and she assumes I am the person they are looking for.  I called back adn got a machine, stayed on hold and got the same girl.  I then called back and all I heard was "click".

Had a call from this number on my cellphone whilst I was working. As soon as I answered, it clicked off. And as soon as I put the phone down it rang again. It's not funny, I don't owe a single debt to anyone and I really wish these scumbags would go and run under a car.

Beginning to get calls from 845-770-0061 at my Ohio number.  No messages are left.

I've only been getting calls for about a week and a half by this number. I refuse to answer it but that doesn't seem to help. I would like to know how they got my number. But more importantly, I just want it to stop. They have the gull to call repeatedly but leave no messages. It's pointless as far as I'm concerned.
I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE OR CALL BACK. EVEN ANSWERING AND SAYING A SIMPLE "YES" MAY BE HARMFUL. And being on the phone with them for any length of time may be harmful as well.

If you only knew how many times times  have requested these idiots to stop phoning, you wouldn't write such an inane post. Obviously, you have never dealt with the CBE Group.  They and you are morans

I am not in debt and yet I get 3 or 4 phone calls per day from these people who ask me to veify info such as my address and social...I am not verifying anything to anyone over the phone, especially if they won't identify themselves.  These annoying, harrassing calls need to stop.

Dear People,
Unless you are a professional debtor, then there should be no problem in answering the phone, telling the company that you do not know this person and it is the wrong #. After that, they will take out your #. Collection agencies do not have a "do not call list", so please stop saying they need to do this.

Its quite simple when you really look at things. I get calls all the time for a "gloria" but i answer, let them know its a wrong # and i stop getting calls. like from this above #.

So if u have nothing to be ashamed of, answer the phone, stop complaing, just do it :o)

I get calls from 845-770-0061 , The message says "Shanda Davis " call to call this number , no one on the calls to speak with.. I am NOT Shanda Davis!

I received at least 4 calls a day from these people.  I do not answer them.  When I attempt to call them back, no answer, they just hang up

They call and I have answered and there was no one on the line They call at 7:30 am every morning

I got one too at 8:58pm today 2/8/10.  I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the phone number.  No message left.  This has been my cell phone number for over 4 years and I have never had Direct TV.  What a pain.  I hope these don't continue.

I have been receiving calls from the following number 845-770-0061  No one ever speaks and these calls are daily, sometime several times a day. The fat that no one speaks is just plain creepy. Yesterday 2-3-2010, I stayed on the line and kept asking the caller to identify themselves. Finally, a woman answered me with a question. She asked if I was myself and when I confirmed she asked if I lived at an address that she rambled off. I refused to answer any identifying questions, telling her to tell me who she was and what she wanted. She again asked me to confirm that I was myself and when I did she hung up on me. The number, if typed into the search engine comes back with numerous complaints mirrored to mine. Obviously this company gets kicks out of harrasing people. They never have told me who they were or what they want, which is against the law if they are a debt collector, as I have researched and found out. This company has horrible business practices!  I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the BBB and everyone who has this problem should do the same.  No one deserves to be abused and harrassed by this low class company with its rude, undereducated employees.Take the time to follow through on complaints and lets get these people out of business! Who knows, maybe a nice big lawsuit may help us all feel a little better about our wasted day time cell minutes!
