I just got  a call from the 864 694 7045 number just tonight. it went to voicemail and it was a strange message..it was somebody laughing really strangely, like a evil laugh. wish there was a number i or a person could call to end these weird *** phone calls...i wonder what they would have done if i had answerd....hmmmmm

The number appears to be for IBM Tech Support, probably among other groups.  It's legitimate as we use IBM for third-party support and this number is common to us.  It's a callback that appears to be a "blind" number.  Meaning, regardless of where certain calls originate from, they all show as this number on a caller ID.  I work in a call center and we have a similar arrangement where the engineers are all behind a PBX network and will always show a specific number regardless of where they are calling from.  That's done to screen the engineers from direct callbacks, or direct engagements, that can bypass a standard call in process.  The difference is that the number we show is our standard support line, we don't share the callback number with any other groups, so at least a caller would have some idea who called them.

I just got a call from this number - it was VERY static and the man sounded startled, stumbled over himself for a second and asked for "John". When I told them that it was a wrong number he laughed and hung up.

My wife received several calls from 845-694-7045, which if you call it over and over again will eventually tell you it is a non-working extension at IBM East Fishkill, and to call the operator at '894-2121'.  I did that, and went through the menu options.  I got a 1-800-IBM-4YOU number, called it, and a tech type person answered the phone.  I asked them where to send the cell bill for the minutes they wasted.  They said to send an E-Mail to NETSUPP@US.IBM.COM and that they would take care of the annoying calls.  I never did get an address.  I shot them a cease and desist e-mail  ;)

Multiple calls to my call from this number...  Not recognized.  Usually a telemarketer violating the do not call registry.

Got 2 calls in a row.  The first was silence followed by a hang-up.  Second one some guys says "wrong number" and hangs up.  ??????????????

i got a call today from this number called it back and it said it was the hudson valley research park but none of the automated phone options gives me a chance to find out what the call was in regards to.

Got a call from this number at 1:45 a.m. I answered and the caller hung up. The caller ID identified it as coming from an IBM line ... and a reverse look up revealed the location at somewhere near Beacon, N.Y. The number it was calling is an unpublished, residential phone. It would be nice if someone would shut off that account.

I  received a phone call from this number from a guy that sounds like a tech and says " this phone is being traced" I asked who the hell it was and he said " I'm the owner" . People that prank are lowlives!

I received a call from this number, and when I picked up, a lady with a heavy Asian accent asked for me by name. Then she said she had the wrong number (???!!!!) and hung up on me. Very strange.

This is IBM in East Fishkill, NY. Chances are is that it was an employee calling you on a personal note (like father telling you something)....

I got a call from this number too.  It was a girl asking about a past client of mine.  Said she couldnt find her accountant. His web site was down and why was it?
I told her he didnt pay his bills and told her to look him up in the phone book.  

I think this is a company hired by the accountant or someone that did business with you.  I think its more of an investigative company.
Dont trust this person or company.

I also got two missed calls from this number, one minute apart.

I received a call from this number with no voicemail left.  I called the number back and received a recording that stated "Thank you for calling the Hudson Valley Research Park."
