First off, unplug your router from the network, so you cannot go online.  Run malware software if possible.  backup all data, pictures, important things, then reload your image from your backup disk.  This will be the only sure way of getting rid of this variant, bot or spyware.  You can as suggested earlier run malwarebytes in safe mode.  But download it from another computer that has not been affected.

Mine was 999-910-0544 I said I don't have a issue he said yes I do I said your a scam he said he is certified 25 years I said of what scamming and said I may be mentally disabled but Im NOT stupid and hung up

I got a call today from a different phone number (315-567-4620), but was given the same warrant number that you were given.  I asked the man on the line with a very heavy accent to hold on just a moment while I looked my attorney's phone number so we could have a conference call and that I DO NOT have any warrants out for my arrest...I work for the government!!!  He started yelling at me and told me that I could just give him my attorney's information.  I told him that there was no need to yell at me because I hadn't raised my voice not one time.  When I told him that I found the phone number and would call right then, he hung up.

Got a call from this number before 8 am on Memorial Day. They hung up with out saying anything. What a joke!

sam here : Go to the web site phone busters. It is a canadian federal government anti-fraud taks force that keeps track on all these a***oles. Give them as much detail about the calls as possible to help them get shut down.

I just got a call from 999 910 0238 claiming the same nonsense as those who have commented before me.  11pm they called me! i agree with rivs, how does the government allow taxpayers to be harassed by these calls on a daily basis.  this is absolutely ridiculous.

I just got a call from this Invalid NPA number, did'nt see it until i grew suspicious of his demand for my information while i was downloading there software and registering, telling him that i dont have money in my account. And him saying to me to try it anyways, so i put the guy with the indian accent on hold and called my friend who said to me that they are just frauders and scammer trying to gain all your information. When i got back he had already hung up and on my laptop the note pad was open with text writing asking if i were still there, So i shut down the laptop and was wondering if having them surf my laptop from the other side and showing me all the red Errors and Warnings i had on my laptop before shutting down give them unlimited access to anything i do on my laptop. Or if its still safe to use it.

disgusting that these calls can't be stopped- pathetic how much money the government takes from us but can't stop this fraud. Caller was absolutely ignorant and was cursing and swearing at me because my phone manners were unacceptable to him.

You must've clicked on a hacked link set up by these crooks, clicked on a link that came through the e-mail/messenger, accepted a file from them, or went to a site filled with hidden malware.

THEY WANT TO INFECT YOUR COMPUTER, I WAS STUPID ENOUGH THE FIRST TIME, DONT TALK TO THEM AT ALL, IT TOOK THE GEEK SQUAD SEVERAL HOURS OVER 2 DAYS TO FIX IT!!

I suspect 999 numbers are illegal, but are bought and sold, not necessarily by companies. I have been harassed by 999 910 0122 for 4 days, but I am also being stalked by someone online, so I wonder if this is the same person, as a form of annoyance.

No one ever answers, and I get 2 to 3 calls a day. AND of course I can't block it.

They have been calling me for the last 2 weeks.  The first week I went along with them for a few hours as I was watching reruns on TV.  I pretended to turn on my PC (I have none) and follow their instructions so they could "repair it" and make it stop sending error messages.  For some reason they could not connect to me - no PC, no cable, no internet - but then they didn't know that.  They said they would give me a chance to work things out with my internet provider and call me the next day.  They didn't call the next day but they did call today.  I asked them "what country are you calling from" and the call abruptly ended.  So make that your first question whenever you hear foreign voices on the other end of the phone.  As I said, I am NODUMMY.

I just received a call from 999 9100-328 - technician from Microsoft, they have been receiving messages from my computer, it is infected and will crash soon, he told me to press the "windows" key and "R" key and type "eventVWR" in the box which led to a listing of many events and warnings...  
  Then told me to go to www.supportme.com and enter six digit warranty code 794965
  My computer gave me a security warning and I then realized that it was a scam.  I did not run their program ...  
   I ended the phone call...

This indian man informs me that he is a demon surrounded by witches.
I notify him that I am contacting the police at once.
His response was for me to tell them they can find him in heaven.
I hung up.
I prefer animals to people.

I got this call, and the guy witch could not speak a bit of english said that he was from some antivirus company.  He said that I have a virus, and to check my computer with a website.  Well anyway, the website was to get "remote access".  I tried to have him tell me what to do, but all he wanted was to go and put a code at this webpage.  Well ITS JUST A SCAM TO COPY, INSTALL, OR WHATEVER, to gain access to your computer.  Beware

I'm at Montréal, Canada, I received that kind of calls several times. My windows is suppose to be infected even the fact is that i don't use windows at home. The guy who's calling me has always the same accent (Indian or close of this). They called me like 3 times every day with a different numbers 206 or 999. It's very disturbing no one here has the authority to stop that. (sorry if i did errors, english is not my first language.)

yes, those people are wanting to offer you a career with attending college. Tell me a way to get rid of them. I applies several  jobs applicants on line and within 10 minutes these calls started.I don't want to go to college. I want a real job.
