SCAM!!!  my daughter in Puyallup, WA received a call from Justin Black and George William regarding a government grant for low income families asking her to purchase a Greenback card from Walmart and put $240 on it and then call them back at this number (202)391-0953 with a confirmation code and then they would transfer $8,400 to her account. It sounds like a total scam to me, so I told her not to do anything. Just putting this out there in case anyone else gets hit by this.

I kept getting calls from this number 847-569-3754.  It shows up on caller I.D. as "Northbrook, IL".  It is a foreigner with a heavy Indian accent, but says his name is some American name.  He keeps calling every 5 to 10 minutes asking for a certain employee until I finally told him that person didnt work here anymore.  If you hang up on him he calls right back and if you put him on hold he finally hangs up, but then calls back!  Ugghhh - the frustration!  I have also received those calls from foreigners that claim to have an American name and say they are with the CIA or FBI and they are investigating a certain employee and they want to talk to that person!  To my knowledge neither one of those organizations would make phone calls to reach a certain person!  I wish we could do something more about it.  I hope people don't fall prey to these vultures scamming them out of their hard-earned money!

Just rec'd a call from this number trying to tell me I owe them $355.00 dollars for a payday loan. Then hung up on me when I push for answers. The caller seemed to be from India with very strong accent I could not understand half of what he was saying.

i just got a call from this same number, foreign accent, anglo saxon name,same kind of bull crap. i told him i'd find him and mash his foreign face in!

Keeps on calling without providing any information. Looked up phone number on the internet and found all of these complaints.

Some guy called me @ work regarding a payday loan, that he said that I owed.He spoke  in a Thick Indian accent. I told him he had the wrong name and number.
He preceeded to go wild and telling me that the police are coming for me at work. I told him have a nice day.

its a scam and your not going to find where they are cause they are using pre-paid phons and cards..

Tell them the next time they call this call is monitored by the police and FBI. See how fast they hang up...

I am receiving several harrassing calls from this number.  I have spoken to this person once before who has an accent and who has stated that I am being sued for a previous bill.  I requested several times for a mailing address to send payment but they insist that I have to send it through a credit card, which I have stated to them I do not have.  They call me three and four times back to back.  They also have begun calling my work telephone number back to back.  They have been calling both my cell phone number and my work number at the same time after I stated I would file harrassment charges.  I have a witness in the office that saw how they have been calling and calling and calling.  The other day, I told him I was at work and could not talk, he called right back.  Whenever he calls he gives different names.....Rick Naltee, Mark Wilson, etc.  I am really getting frustrated with this. How do I stop these calls?

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER SINCE FRIDAY, 10-19-2012. IT IS A FOREIGN GUY SAYING HIS NAME IS ALEX MORGAN AND THAT I OWE $300 TO SOME ADVANCE LOAN. HE HAS BEEN CALLING BY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT BACK TO BACK. I THINK HOMELAND SECURITY SHOULD GET INVOLVED WITH THIS SCAM. I ASK TO SPEAK TO HIS SUPERVISOR AND HE GIVES ME A MAN NAME CHRIS RENE. THE VOICE ON THE LINE SOUND LIKE THE SAME MAN. IT IS A DISAGRACE THAT WE AS AMERICAN HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS HARASSAMENT.

An individual with a foreign accent continue to call harrassing me from this number. (847-569-3754) I have asked the individual to stop calling and they repeatedly called saying it was a matter against my social that needed immediately attention. Once I hung up on this individual he called back asking why did I hang up and if I hung up on my MOMMA! I had to place my boss on the phone which is a license Attorney so, stop him from calling.

This dumb NON american needs to find somebody else that has time for his games, if I wanted to play gamea I would go outside with my children to play ball of tag as far as wasting my voice on a stupid moron I will just ignore the calls.. if I owe something then I'm sure whatever it is the person I owr the money to would call me thereself.. This man names James Morgan called my nanny asking for me. She told him she did not know where I was and hung up on him. He called back and said, "you hung on me so F### You"  This is about forth time in three years that this type of thing has happened to me.  These people are lying, praying on innocient people who just want to do what is right.  Threats, and numerous calls are driving me crazy!!  Cant these people be stopped?  call number was 847-569-3754

Currently we have received some concrete agent paper work from the headquarters. We got a speeding debt. Your name and your social security number. We can be did not forwarded it, one, , has been listed as a primary subject for the case against your name and three serious allegations helping Chris against your identity. I'm sure Daniel feel not, before this case gets downloaded, I got your name and before something wrong happens to you, make sure you return this call immediately on my call back number. My call back number is 631-935-1064"  These People are morons I wish i could get to meet them face to face i would love to pay them back

I got a lady this time...her name was Pamela Jackson. I always let it go to VM and then they mark the message urgent. tell me that they have a pending law suit in my name and always wish me good luck and god bless you. WHATEVER. I have a friend who is an attorney and unless they can provide you proof of this so called lawsuit there is nothing they can do. Turn them into the police department.

This person is calling to harass me and say that I have a court record.  Some law firm in New York informing of a pending law suit.

I have been getting calls at work from this number for months now.  I usually just ignore the messages, but now he has managed to get the phone number of one of my co-workers in the same department, as well as the Human Resources department, and now he is also calling them as well.  Same story...he says I owe for some payday loan, and they are threatening a law suit and will make me lose my job.  I have no idea how they ever got my name and number in the first place.  I can tell you this, though, they are truly a pain in the behind.  Maybe they will get tired and stop calling after awhile.  I don't mind them calling me, but I don't appreciate them harrassing my co-workers.

I just recieved a message from this number:8475693754, and he said his name is Ronnie Jackson from legal dept. BCN.  They have a legal case against my social security  number using last four digits.  Last week they used a number 631 3150202, and said the same thing.  I have enough problems, I am very tired of these phone call.

This person called our place of business and asked for an employee. When told we could only take messages, he started screaming and demanding that I put our employee on the phone. I told him we could not and he continued to call 44 more times in a matter of 8 minutes. He screamed obscenities and made threatening statements. This is a place of business! He sounded foreign, but that could be a put on. He would not tell me the name of the business or his phone number. He is definately a scammer, no legimate collection agency would act in such a fashion! It is too bad that with all the new technology, there is no way to catch and prosecute this person. He should be handcuffed to cell bars with only a speaker that loops taped calls all day long!

Man with Indian accent calls constantly saying hes from the legal department of new York though he's calling from Illinois.  He says he has a legal claim against me but gives no information as to what it is about then asks for my social security number.

Just heard from an indian man named adam smith from DCS (some arbitrary law firm in NY) informing me of a pending law suit! Could hardly understand anything thru thick accent. Last week it was Kevin Johnson, I mean really? They are relentless. Next time I'm gonna give them the name, # of my lawyer. Lets see how that goes over.
