I received a call from this number as well and am very concerned. We need to figure out who is running this scam as soon as possible.

Got a call from Authentify, Inc but it was from 847-709-0211.  This cannot be legitimate.

I got a call from this number that was legitimate, Ebay gave me a PIN to verify changes I made on my new computer since it didn't recognize it. It's legitimate, but if you don't know why you got the call, someone's either messing with your Ebay/Paypal account or using your phone number.

I just received a call from them that said to press 1 if I was expecting the call.  I was on ebay today and didn't know what else to think, so I pressed 1 and it started repeating a 4 digit pin.  Wrote it down, but I have no idea why I received the call.  I didn't change anything or bid on anything today...?

They called me at 2 am!!!

I recd a call from this number asking for pressing the pund key and some personal details. But I hanged up as the caller could not be identified!!

Received phone call this number:  message:  if you are expecting a phone call from ebay please press 3.  I hung up and started searching on the internet. What is up with this number?

Got the call today. Said enter paypal telephone pin number. Did nothing & after autosystem repeated it 3 times and I did nothing, it hung up. Called paypal to check if it was from them & they had no record of any calls to me. Haven't used paypal in awhile. Looked Authentify up & number on website is different from one that called me. I called them to let them know someone may be using their name on caller id.

that number is ebay calling you to verify it's you logging in if youre on a computer that is different than the one you normally use......

They called me to and said something about my ebay account and gave me a pin number I just ignored it, wouldn't ebay send something in a email about this?

This call is legit.  It is really from ebay.  I made some changes to my ebay account from a computer I don't normally use.  So they called and gave a pin, I had to read back the pin to make the changes.  it's a security feature

This number IS legitimate. It is Authentify Inc., a company who confirms PayPal and eBay transactions. If you got a call from them, someone simply entered the wrong number - no scam.

they called me three times back to back. i answered the third time. and they gave me the message and i proceeded to hang up.

This number is from ebay, they were probably calling you to verify an account opened under your phone number.
This usually give you a pin number.

They called me and gave me a pin number.  I'm asking ebay if it is them.  I'll update this in a min.

I got a call from this number and the prompt said it was Pay Pals automated system. It asked me to input my pin number...I don't even have a pay pal or ebay account..?

Found this in my call log.  I did not receive it.  Figured it was a spam.

I recieved a call on 10-09-08 at 4:30am from them.  I didnt answer because it was 4:30am and i was sleeping.

FRAUD: Someone used this phone number to call me and to sell me fake sports tickets.

1 in the morning, these idiots kept calling and calling. First time, no message. Next, "Please press #7" and then "Please press #2." Next time the call came in, I answered just to hang up on 'em, and that seemed to break the chain. Didn't get another call.

From the time (1 in the morning) I figured it was a prank...somebody who knows that if they enter your number on a website, it will defeat anonymous call blocking (which I have) and you'll get pestered.

I also the message that kept saying what my pin number is, except that it didn't even say that it is from e-bay.  It left my a voice mail, which irritated me!

Received a call at 9:36 pm: This is regarding your pay pal account.  Your pin number is...Your pin number is...Your pin number...Voice recording stops and hangs up.  Judging from other posts, this is an automatic service for ebay/pay pal account users who may have lost/forgotten a pin number.  At any rate, I will check my pay pal accounts online just to make sure nothing has been compromised.

Knock on wood...no repeat calls.
