I got a call from this number two times on 1-30-12 in the evening, but when I try to call it back the recording says "this number is temporarily unavailable".

I have received two phone calls from this number.  One was for Junival Crime Prevention and the other was for area Make A Wish Foundation.  It is obvious that this is a professional calling company hired to get donations.  If these charities need funding I suggest that they make the calls themselves.  When i donate I want all my donation to go to the charity not a small protion.  Professional companies keep the biger share of the donation to pay for their staff and other things.  Donating by phone is not going to happen in my house.  I will not donate over the phone again.  If they want a donation they will have to ak my in person.

Received call from this number today at 2:25pm.  Caller said he was with Fraternal Order of Police.  Said he's soliciting donations for sick kids or something.  Tried to politely say I wasn't interested, but he started popping off about me not being interested in helping kids.  Had to just hang up on the clown.  Scammers...

Wow it looks like this number has been used for quite a while by scammers   see postings back  to 2008!   I got a call this morning at 830am  caller ID showed Kane County IL.  Recording says please hold for the next available agent....a guy comes on the phone says he's with the Kane County Sheriff's Fraternal order of Police.   I tell him no you're a scammer and hang up on him.

at 840am on Saturday morning received call from this number with recording you'll be connected to next available agent....bingo some guy comes on says he's with the Kane County Fraternal Order of Police and told him no you're a scammer and I hung up.  Caller ID showed call Kane County IL

continually calls and hangs up or will not say the company name or give identity

Yep - got the same thing just now and I have gotten it several times in the past.  I just hang up as soon as the automated voice says hold for an operator. They are obviously going to try to sell me something that I don't want.

I keep getting calls from this number. The "operator" will say please wait for an operator, and then suddenly I get the if you would like to make a call please hang up..

someone keeps calling from this number. When you try to call it back it says it's not accepting calls from a private line.

They left a voicemail for me. Its a company in Illinois. They want to give you information about working from home.

I get all three- isn't there a way to block these types of calls- Global Crossing Local Services, Inc.

Why does one assume everyone has a cell phone?  Help was offered only to cell phone users.

Person just hangs up when my answering machine kicks in.

Received call from this person. They ask "can I count on your help".  Obviously a soliciation, scam artist looking for financial donation.  Tell them to get lost!

Got the "please wait for next agent"...then I heard Shallow Hall playing in the background, and then someone asking unintelligibly for some guy, then asking if I was his wife, hung up before I could even finish the sentence "you have the wrong number" whoever it is, REAL professional with the movies playing in the background....I pictured some guy on a bean bag with cheetos in front of his TV.  These people need real jobs....sheesh.

Receive calls often from this number. Usually it just disconnects like a hang up call.

call from a machine.  stated "wait for next available agent."  no person came on.  we are on the do not call list.

Answered, recording stated "wait for next available agent".  I waited about a minute, then hung up and started to search for who the call was from.

they call constantly.   I don't answer now, but I have asked them to not call in the past.  Unfortunately, comcast does not allow me to block this number.    Makes me almost miss the phone company.

received a call from this number, when I answered it was an operator that told me to "please wait as I was being directed to the next available agent???????"  I immediately hung up and *67 called the number back and it just rang & rang.  Hopefully it wasn't one of those calls who they will now use my number for their own personal use....calling the phone company now...........

Got a call from this number for someone not home.  Wouldn't give where they were calling from.  Gave a lot of bless you have a blessed day etc.

asked for someone that was not home an refused to give identify company that they were calling from and hung up. Tried to call number back but got busy signal.
