when phone is answered nobody will say anything   then they hang up

They never leave a message or say anything

they call all the time, is annoying

Never anyone on the other end when this call comes through.  Never any messages left on the answering machine either.  Have seen this number pop up on the caller ID for at least 2-3 months now.  Mornings, evenings...no real difference.  Hopefully someone can get an answer about this nussiance call.

Keeps calling me at work, today at 8:15 AM.  Leaves a hard to hear message on my voice mail, something, something Alexander like maybe a law firm, needs to speak to me about an important matter.  Sounds like a bill collector to me.  I have been getting some mail for bills that were written off back in 1995, one I paid income tax on.  These people are low of the low, maybe if they are good they will get a "real" job.

Well, I got Maria Vladez from Weingarten, something, something and Associates.  Bill collectors posing as lawyers.

I get a call from this number every couple of days.  If I pick up, there is no one on the line; if I don't, there is no message.  It may be a charity or other with one person handling a lot of lines so if they actually talk to one person, then the others get what I described above.

I sure would like to know what the heck is going on with this phone call. I also receive a call from them 3-5 times a week and it is anoying. I am disabled and it is not easy for me to get up and get to the phone only to have this happen. Please, how do I stop this from happening?

Never anyone on the other end of the line.  Silence for 3-5 seconds, then disconnect.  I get 3-5 calls from this number a week.
