called about reducing my credit card rates. when I asked the what number he was at I was told that it was a secure line hired by visa and mastercard. I then proceeded to tell him that I am on a "do not call" list and would like to know his number so I can report him. I was then hung up on.

just received call from 851-000-6943 wanting to reduce credit cards, then i told this person i dont have a credit card then they hang up, this has happened several times to me all from different numbers. what is a person to do

851-000-6943 called today. Didn't answer but they left a message on the answering machine about reducing my credit card interest rate and to press 9 to talk to a live person. The caller had a heavy foreign accent of English or Australian possibly. I just erased the answering machine message. I won't answer these kinds of calls from an area code I don't recognize.
