Yes got the same form today filled it out and this woman by the name of Cynthia who is so rude and wants to find out all my business and when I refused she screamed again and hung up, the call is out of Merrick NY.

If everyone would do this it would help to stop it. People have been sued, even I received a small amount for being part of a class action where someone sued one of these scammers.

Recevied 12 of these Spam faxes today from the Latino American Who's Who. Fax back number listed was 855-206-1827 and the removal number 855-469-8560. The ANI on these faxes were one of three: 702-570-4579, 213-330-0187 and 267 and these are probably bogus numbers. Wish I had the time and energy to go after these spammers.

Do not call to get your name removed.  You will be billed for calling them back.  Report this instead.

Area code 855 is a future area code reserved for toll-free calls in which the calling party is not charged. Instead, the telephone carrier charges the cost of the call to the called party. Toll-free numbers, such as 855 numbers, have applications such as technical support, customer service, and personal use.

There is no removal number. That number is a trick to get you to confirm your number. So if you are foolish enough to actually call it, paying a toll should be the least of your concerns.

Who's Who for Executive and Professionals - There's a number listed to call if you want your fax number removed.  That # is 855-469-8559.  I am afraid to call it because I don't what kind of telephone charge I might rack up.  Does anyone know if this is a toll-free call?

This one from The Heritage Registry of Who's Who for Executives and Professionals.  Scam for people who want to pay to have their name in a book that costs hundreds of dollars to buy and doesn't do a darn thing for your career because who wants to pay to see a bunch of no-names who make themselves to be more than they are?!  If you really want recognition for your work, this book ain't gonna do it folks!  Have you ever seen one of their books on someone's coffee table?  Or anywhere for that matter?  

And don't use their fax removal number as it will just put you on more lists.  Be aware and keep track of the fax removal numbers - you will find they use the same "removal" service as a bunch of other companies.  They just sell your fax number to the next group of scammers on the rise.  

You can report junk faxes to the FCC - go to their do not call site to file a complaint.  Easy to do online or fax them the form and the junk faxes.

Mine said Latino American Who's who.  Googling it revealed a really poorly-designed web page, plus a link to what appears to be a premium directory service of the people who think they "won" by getting this honor. Probably more like a directory of angry people who were billed by this scam/spam/sham company!

Received a FAX today from asking me to join the Latino American Who's Who.  No Bueno!

The most common scam with vanity publications is to persuade you to buy it at a big price and also sometimes to pay for an "enhanced" listing.

Faxing back a form is likely to generate a bill to you, with an assertion that in so doing, you ordered the publication, and that you requested an enhanced listing.

Vanity publication scams are probably as old as the printing press, but apparently enough folks fall for them to keep the operations profitable.

Sent me a junk fax today.  I'm filing an online FCC complaint now, and I plan on suing.  If you Google "Trevor Harrison Membership Director", you will find an "F" rated BBB record out of Merrick, NY.  I get these about once a year for the last several years.  I say that we ALL sue!!!
