This person called my job and has been calling my cell phone, blocking their number. He left me a message saying his name is Michael Hunter and that he's the senior locator for the processing and summons division for the state of Florida. He said I needed to contact my case worker, Mr. Moss immediately regarding 2 fraud charges against me for writing bad checks and that need to serve me with a warrant. I never called them back and did a google search on this and saw it's some kind of a scam. They have also called my job, but we have an call center who wouldn't put the call through. He said I needed to call 1-888-978-4319 extension 147 and that my case number is 431-923

I received the same calls yesterday as well as they called my father and telling me I would be summoned.  They gave me a so-called case number.  Little did they know I have family who works for the courts in my county.  When I called the guy back and ask him for proof he told me he had my email address and that was all he needed.  So, I ask him to send me something that would confirm I took out a loan.  NOTHING.  I proceeded to tell him that the "senior manager" said I had until today at 3pm to resolve the issue and he told me, he was the other senior manager and he needed to hear from me by 11:15am.  When I ask him what was the other guys name again, he stuttered for a while and then gave me a name of someone I hadn't talked to.  They were totally unprofessional because he couldn't even tell me who would serve me and that if I chose to get the summons instead of paying them, they would set up a time for me to be served.  They are so full of it and a straight scam.  Never the less, I intend to report them to the Attorney General's office, because they have your information.

Received a call from the same EXACT number as listed in the first post. Stated they are going to arrest my hubby at our house. Alliance hired a so-called state locator, that called hubbys place of employment, that's where the threats began. Said we defrauded a financial institution and they were coming to our house to arrest hubby. He started asking hubby for personal information over the phone, hubby got smart said no thank you and hung up. I called the people back asked them why they called hubbys work, what address they are calling from said pheonix az, i said i want your physical address they refused to give it to me. Chris baker, attempted to say he was a process and summons division Lol idiot doesn't realize some of us know the law. If i can trace this STATE LOCATOR, he's in serious trouble and will be filing charges. I have filed complaints with the OHIO AG office, also PHEONIX AZ AG office and the BBB and FTC, it's illegal for someone to be threatened in this manner.

These Rascals are busy.  They are using several different phone numbers on this board.  They won't give out any information about themselves yet expect people to freely divulge their ss and bank account #s.

Received a call from a company calling themselves Alliance Solutions. In one breath the man states they are not a collection agency but then in the same breath says he needs my bank information to secure a payment agreement; that they are a company that acts on behalf of several different companies. How stupid they really think consumers are as a hold are. I was a victim of a identity theft attempt and explained that to them and they still insisted the debt belonged to me. A BIG MESS!!!! They misrepresented themselves saying that I have a court case in my county court and that if I didn't pay then they would proceed with the paperwork, blah, blah, blah. Of course, I didn't give them anymore personal information than what they already had. SMH.

I received a call from an unknown # stating that his name was Bob Johnson. Did not state what company he represented in the voice mail just that my husband had multiple complaints filed against him this morning. He went on to state that the proper paperwork would be filed today in my county courts office and that my husband had officially been notified. He gave the # 8884970248 stating that he had the right to contact the person(s) filing the claims through this #. I called my county sheriff's office and told them about a 6:30 am call that I received from them this morning as well when they said that they were with the court summons division. The sheriff's deputy that I spoke with even said it doesn't sound right. I thought a summons was just to appear not to answer for charges filed is the first question am having wouldn't that negate the right to counsel? Second, they wouldn't call they would just appear. 3rd, with everything I am reading online, they have to make the attempt to serve you in person before the courts will even accept a mailed notification, it says nothing about being able to be served/notified over the phone or your voice mail.

By his own words then he has confirmed that he is a fraudulent collector and has no valid claim. No need to waste anymore of your time answering the scammers calls. Ignore the clown.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

Received a call from 888-497-0248 claiming I had been officailly notified and served.  I called back and asked the man I spoke with over and over again to send me information or email me anything to show me proff of what he was talking about and he refused. Claimed the only thing they would be sending me would be a summons. Very rude man and he kept insulting me saying that my lawyer would have to deal with it when ever I received it otherwise they didn't have anything they needed to send me.

I received a call from James Taylor, respenting Volusia county and there several complaints and I need to contact the legal department and gave me a phone # of 877-636-8528, when I call the number the message was you have reach Alliance Solutions so I went to the web to do a search and found out this is a debt collection agencey. James Taylor told me that I am getting served with court papers and I will have to show up for court and that I would have to contact the legal department to get a ROF to release me from having to go to court. I am know this a scam, Alliance Solutions is a debt collection agencey and they do not have any legal rights to send you to court.

I too received a call, actually my grandmother received a call, and I called them back.  This is the 5th or 6th time this has happened to me but they usually call my parents house.  They have never called me directly and only call my parents or grandparents.  When I call them back they tell me I have taken out a loan from Money and More and I haven't paid it back and they are "going to find me".  They never send me anything or do anything and when I ask them to provide me with proof they tell me they can't do that because that is their evidence against me.  I pulled my credit report and just as I had suspected, no such loan ever took place.  They are scamming people.  Don't fall for it and don't give them your information!

I received several calls from them today as well.  They attempted to contact me at work, on my cell phone, and at my parents' house. They left messages at each instructing that I had officially been served.    No one was available when I attempted to call back.  Are they legitimate?  Can someone be officially served over the telephone, especially if they do not talk to a live person?

I understand that this is an Attorney's office out of Phoenix Arizona.  They hire 3rd party collectors, local to your area to place calls.  Not at all friendly or willing to admit they have made a mistake.
