I received a call from this Robert Corbin today about a payday loan from 2009, saying he was with Coastal.  He said if i don't make a payment of $345, that I would be served with court papers for fraud.  I told him i would call him back.  I did a little online research, and found out that this was a scam.  So i called him back and asked him for the name of the Court that the summons would be for, and a case number.  He would not give it to me, 1st red flag.  I then asked him for the address of his law firm, that pissed him off, and he said that it would be on the court summons. So i then i told him i would make the payment if he would provide me with paper work with information on how much I owed and what company i owed.  He said that he could not provide this information.  2nd red flag.  He was really pissed with me at this point.  He then said he was going to have the person from my parish that would serve me, give me a call.  About 15 mins later, i received a call from a Bill that said he was from my Parish, the funny thing is that it sounded exactly like Robert Corbin. 3rd red flag.  I told him i know this is a scam, and i know this is not BIll, but Robert.  He hung up the phone.  The number they are calling from is 888-309-6867, Robert extension is 508.  I hope everyone that reads this, calls this A-hole and screws with him.  Just block your number if you do.

Heard they called my work today when I wasn't there. These people try this once every six month's because a old pay day loan got shut down and sold my info. So every six months I go through this. First nobody can call you to "officially notify you" second they can not tell you they are serving you by phone it must come officially through your local courts. You are legally allowed to tell them not to call you or you will press harassment charges. Piss them off keeping repeating questions until they hang up. Tell them you looked them up and you see that they are on the FBI & BBB fraud list that'll always get you a hang up and peace and quiet for a very long time. Most of all you have done nothing wrong do not let them get you upset!!

Call came from a different number that left a voicemail stating she was Jen and we have officially been notified! Left a number for us to call back along with a case number and when I called it said it was alliance the number was 18887610349. They where very aggressive and loud when I asked questions so I told them I guess I'd see them in court!

I just left a voicemail back to them exercising my right to protect myself from assault. stalking can be scene as assault from mn legal definition. I explained i will exercise my right to shot them if they arrive at my door. They are not licenses in any state to leave a voicemail in this manner. Best thing to do with these folks is file a complaint against them with the FTC. Despite what they say they are a DEBT COLLECTOR and in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Record their calls. It is legal if you notify them. It's also a good way to tell if they are legit, because if they hang up when you tell them that, well... :-) If by some ODD chance you do end up in court because of the debt they bought, play the call...they will incriminate themselves (if they talk to you like they did me) and you'll be in good shape.

I checked the case number and there was no such case number in clark county court house. This is a hoax. They are trying to steal money from people

Alliance solutions is a scam They called me trying to collect a debt that I paid 3 years ago I just spoke with two different people from their office each person gave me a different amount of what I borrowed and what I owed it was a legitimate company they would not have to go back and forth I went to the police station and ask them they said a real collection agency does not ask for your card information over the phone they are also by law not allowed to ask for money orders or money grams because they cannot be traced and anybody can cash it the number they called me from was 877 937 5774 if you get a call from them do not pay them if you already paid them call your bank and reported as a scamp and have that transaction cancelled I repeat they are a scam they get your credit information find out what you owe and then they picked through it and they find something they think they can get money from you for I repeat do not pay them a dime you are being ripped off

I received a call today from an unknown caller. A so called James Taylor told me my brother had a court date and they wanted to make sure he didn't miss it. He said for me to relate the message and have him call the 855-202-8947 immediately. I will report the the FTC as the same guy above.

I filed a complaint on them with Arizona Department of Financial Institutions, the Arizona State Attorney, The FTC and the Consumer Protection Agency.  They are guilty of violations of Fair Collection Practices.  I just contacted today by the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions asking more information about them.  I told them exactly what happened and I advised them that this company refuses to give me their address.

I have received phone calls from this group.  It stems back to a group out of FL.  that has numerous notes on pay day loan practices that are illegal.  The number they called me from was 855-209-4867.  They are a fraud.  Ignore them and their threats!

I have been gotten calls from this company as well calling my sick mother and people I have not spoken with in years. Leaving threating messages and obscene language  which is against the law. I asked for the paper work proving validity about the so called debt nothing. Then they say oh well we can offer you a settlement for half of what they claim I owe really!!! I am pissed I don't know if this is a scam or what I am over the millions of blocked calls and threating messages. This is ridiculous seriously something needs to be done about the never ending HARRASSMENT!!!!

How do we file a complaint against this company?? They called my home, husband, parents and brother today. Freaked them out like I was going to get arrested or something. Who are these people?? I received a call from these people this morning at my place of employment--Michael Smith @ 855-479-2468 regarding my 36 yr old daughter.  Said that she needed to be served with papers---something about failure to appear and judge gets mad if she doesn't show up.  He said she just needed to call the above number.  They just needed to hear her voice.  Then a few minutes later, he called our home and asked to talk to my husband.  I told him not to ever call our numbers again--that I knew he was a debt collector and hung up on him.  I'll see what happens now.

Hahaha, I actually have pretty decent credit, and a decent limit credit card to know if I did need funds, I would use that and not some sketchy, third rate PDL company that charges illegal interest rates. I don't worry about "being arrested" for a debt I do not owe, I would just prefer some scumbag wasn't using my name calling people I know trying to intimidate me into paying something I could easily pay if they would do me the courtesy of providing me the loan agreement. Our great country is in trouble because scumbags like you think corporations are above reproach. If you say I owe you money but refuse to send something in writing, you're a scam artist, nothing more. I graduted High School and I also got My M.B.A from N.Y.U. and i  had to deal with bill collectors while i was going threw college i've had those calls and i hated bill collectors just like everybodyelse but once i graduated i got all my bills from everyone i owed student loans and all i paid them off and i was no longer harrassed. That's when i realized as much as i hated those people and cursed them out everytime they call my phone that they were only doing there job because til this day i haven't recieved anymore calls from debt collectors because all my bills are paid on time you should try it Gunnar! You want to act like you on here to educate people your on here because you have found a bunch of iresponsible people like yourself who take money and don't pay it back so it makes you feel like what your doing is ok it's not! I got a call from the same company but from number 855-481-3792.

This company has contacted me and family members in different states stating that they are sending me to court.  They told my sister in Florida that I had a court date and need to appear, they left me a message on my answering machine advising me that I had been served via the message.  When I contacted them back requesting their physical address they refused to give it to me and hung up. I am unable to send them a letter requesting that they stop contacting me.  The second time I called they told me I would be receiving court papers in the mail and again would not be giving me their address and when I told them I was filing complaints they hung up on me again. They are not allowed to make threats or discuss anything with my family members or friends.  I still do not even know why they are calling me.  

I find this to be abusive debt collection practices and I feel that this needs to stop.
