One word: Lawyer

I have spoken to Experian twice complaining that these people won't send me anything and do not belong on my credit report. Not to mention the debt is paid in full that they seem to think they need.  This last time I complained they said that the company told them that they didn't know how to get ahold of me.  I've lived at the same address for over 9 years and had the same phone number just as long.  So they are still on my credit report and the fakers have yet to send me anything.  I complained to the FTC and nothing heard there yet. I am at a loss as to what to do now. Experian keeps accepting what they say.  I also filed a police report and they don't care!

A legitimate debt collector would abide by the terms of the FDCPA and send you a debt validation letter as well as papers proving that you owe the debt and that they are entitled to collect said debt.  That they refuse to send anything just shows that they are scammers!

Just found out that this stupid company added themselves to my credit report. Only to Experian.  Sent a fraud message to Experian and that they are to remove them. We will see what happens. Check your reports people. These jerks fight dirty!!!

I also received a voice message after they called my phone 6 times in a row.  It was a blocked number which I never answer.  Finally, after 6 attempts they left a message.  It was the same message as someone posted earlier, however, they mentioned someone else's name and referred to me by my maiden name.  I did call them back but wouldn't give them my name or reference number until he told me the name of his company which was S. W. Morgan.  I gave them my reference number and he advised that the other person they referred to in my message possibly used me as a reference.  I told him I had no idea who that person was.  He advised he would let "them" know they had the wrong person.  I tried researching the company and could not find anything.  He was very quick to hang up with me because I was questioning what company they were and who "they" were....craziness.

It is so easy to get information on about anybody now days,  with the internet,  google,  and access to purchasing account information from the sleezy crowds.   Never let the fact that they have information about you,  intimidate you.  Too many people freeze up when the scammer starts quoting this information and accept a settlement when nothing is owed..

can't believe people will do that. my wife, friends and family got a call from a person to call an 855 number regarding a LEGAL problem. Luckily i checked online and found out it was a SCAM. That is so crazy that they know specific information on you.

They called me today telling me I had a case and that I would be served and arrested for not paying a bill that's $5,000.  They do block their number but the man I spoke to named "Rick" gave me another number (323) 835-1154 to call back.  Then the next day he asked me to call (949) 468-1642. Then now "Rick" asked me to call (855) 217-7343. It is a scam but they do become very harassing but when you question them they get angry and hang up.

I received a call from them this past evening. Same message in my voice mail about documents at a clerks office. I called them back and spoke to a Stephanie (claimed to be a paralegal). Didn't say what their company name is. Told me I had an outstanding balance on an old store credit card and were sueing me for the balance plus 2000 in added court costs. I was never served with court documents. Who are these people?

I get thees call about some thing I do not know. I tell him I no need his papers I hacer my own perro he keep talking anyway. I tell him no thank you I busy. This man .is un hijo de la chingada

John, The dork that I spoke with said the name of the company or law firm was S. Morgan.  Tried to tell me they couldn't send me anything in writing to show me that this was for real.  Whatever.  I took care of it.

We just got credit protection a few weeks ago. I am going to call them and report what I know as well. Glad you mentioned you contacted Life Lock in your post. We got a call from these idiots again today. My spouse spoke with them. We don't know what the name of the company is, did you happen to find that out? I am going to report them to my state as well.

Well I am in the same boat.  They called me saying they were sending the sheriff over with a summons if I didn't call them then they called my husband with the same info.  My husband told me to call and see what they think they want. So I did. The man on the phone had my full soc. He told me what it was I didn't offer it to him. Tried to say I owed $2,999.99 on a credit card from 8 years ago.  Ticked me off badly with the call.  So, I called Life lock right after. Told them what happened. They are WONDERFUL and looked this clowns info up. Surprise Surprise they don't exist.  Life Lock also told me to call the credit card company they say I owe money on and see what they have to say. Then LL kept the info on my account and told me they would watch things. But that this jerk couldn't get anything from me because they will stop it.  So, then I called the Credit card company and they told me that there are 2 collection agencies they work with.  And then told me I owe nothing!!!!  Jack A** bring it on!!! Got my butt covered!!!

I've gotten two calls from the same company. They blocked their number and gave the call back number as 855-217-7343. The first call was for me about some documents that needed to be verified at a certain address. The second call was for the same address but for someone named Fernando. The caller also said that if no one called back in 24 hours they would verify employment and the address and issue the documents. No name of the company or the type of documents. SCAM!

Kay....We got repeated calls today from someone who left the same return number. They blocked or restricted their number when they called and it sounds like they left us the same message they left you. The message they left us was:  "I have documentation that is still pending through the clerk's office for you, if you have any questions regarding the documents that still need to be issued, I recommend you contact the office at 855-217-7343, your reference file number is...(blah blah)...if there is no call back by 5pm today we will have deamed your property address as verified and the document will be issued". It seems VERY suspicious to me too.

We received a call today from "the clerk's office" .  Something about sending out some documents that seem to be concerning our property. Very vague and seems suspicious because it is not clear where they are calling from or what the call is about. I am not calling back!
