THIS NUMBER (734)206-2499 CALLED MY OWN PERSONAL PHONE - I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK, THE RECORDING SAYS THIS # BELONGS TO DEPT OF INVESTIGATIONS THIS LINE DOES NOT ACCEPT MESSAGES !!!

I also received a call on my cell phone from a local number, leaving a message for my ex husband who oddly enough passed away in December 2012. Caller gave the 855-223-8258 number to return a call to "immediately", and that this was the final notice. I called back...and informed the less than friendly man who answered that my ex was deceased and to never call my number again. He had the gall to ask if I could prove it!!!!!  OMG...I almost went through the phone....I then find out that that both my sons had received these calls to, after I had called back!!! It's hard enough to loose a parent, but then to have idiots harassing you almost a year after the fact is unbelievable....

I just got a call from the same number telling me that my husband got himself into a bit of trouble and she needs to get ahold of him right away. Wth??

just got a call form a local area caller.he said my name and then asked for my ex sister in law. young man said it was an important message about a claim  and that the claim was extremely important.  i told him that she does not live here and that i dont see her anymore.  he persisted that when i do see her that i give her the message to call 1 855 223 8258, and then he asked me how soon it would be before i would see her. i told him that i dont see her and if i did it could be 2 to 3 weeks or more. he immeditally said that he would mark this claim as notified and before i could say not to do that because i dont know if i would ever see her again, he hung up.  i have tried to redial his number from my caller id but it is busy  but when it does answer i am going to let him know that i am not doing his job for him and he, she, and them can rot in hell. i am not her secretary and i only took the number because he kept talking like i had no choice.  he called from 734 206 2499

She is using the old "Last chance" to pay strategy.  Puts pressure on the victim to act stupidly and pay before they can think.  I really like the "You have been notified"  finale!    I don't think you need advise because you apparently are on her case and know how to handle the little Bi***.

I got a call from a telephone number of (530) 237-3036. The person (sounded young, unexperienced, and out of breath rattling off the speil she probably says a thousand times a day). The 'lady' said I had one opportunity to call the 855 # and resolve the matter otherwise she would be reviewing it further. She then said "you have been notified" as if that was some official sounding ending. She did not state her company name or the alleged original debtor and did not leave in her message that this was an attempt to collect a debt - nothing in compliance with requirements of a legitimate debt collector. I will be purchasing a tracphone to call and find out who this is. This stupid little girl (sounds all of 18-20 years old and not from an attorney's office like she was trying to make me believe in her messsage) called my work phone, my cell phone, and my landline (I am going to shut if off since I have a cell now). Plus she called each of them 3 times within about a minute or two and left her message the 2nd or 3rd try. I believe she is breaking several laws here and I have saved the recordings for future reference if needed.
