I live here in Texas and going through the same problem at work. The guy named Steven Jones called my employer and told them he was serving me with paper on a debt that I owe. He called again after I told him not to be calling me at work! He refuses to give me an address or mail me a bill,he keeps threatening me about serving  me papers but the a***ole hasn't shown up at work like he said he would. I am calling the attorney generals office and in the process of hiring. An attorney if I have too!

They are calling from another number as well.  855-254-9890.  I have asked them to send me something in the mail which they refuse to do so then I told them to go ahead and serve me then.  I also told them the phone calls will now cease.  They did from the original number now they are calling from a different number.  Is that even legal?  I have no problem paying a bill that I owe....but when they refuse to send me something in the mail and I haven't received anything I'm going to be suspicious of the company!

I got the same call. The Caller ID number is spoofed so you can't trace it or call the number back. They say to call 855-227-0263 in order to prevent them from "serving" papers. DO NOT BELIEVE IT. They will not come. All they want to do is scare you into giving them your credit card. The lady that called me asked if I was going to be home. I told her sure, and she said she would bring my papers. No show.

Repeat, this is nothing but harassment and it is illegal. They will not actually come to your home or office even though they say they are. The only way to stop it is to threaten a lawsuit, but even then I don't know if it would totally stop.

Received call today from 855-227-0263 at work today about some pay day loan.  The lady who left the message I asked to speak to her and noboy knew who she was.  I said she called me from this number and your telling me she doesn't work for you.  I was then told must be third party person calling on there behalf.  That seem strange that a third party person would call from that number that doesn't work for them.They also wanted to verify my address to serve me papers.  It seem strange that they wanted to verfiy my address when they should have had it already since they already know my work number.  I think it's a bunch of crap.

Had a call from a Chris Jackson asking for my son who hasn't lived here in over 15 years. Left message on answering machine. Stated that they have notified him and he should repsond to a claim number left. Stated he had 2 charges pending.  Gave my son the message and they wanted him to take care of charges pending with a credit card, but yet could not give him information about the charges.  There are no charges. He requested everything in writing and was told they would send him information.  We'll see.  This is not a legitamate business.  Some how they should be investigated and punished.

Whoever this is states that you have warrants for your arrest .This is false

Women called my house number asking for my brother. She claimed he had charges pending and gave 855 227 0263 as a return number with a claim number he could give to discuss charges. she called from 919-729-5603 whic i looked up and found as a cell phone from Louisburg, NC.

I have  had the same call a person name Olivia. She even had the nerves of calling my parents next door neighbor. I have called my local authories, my attorney general and have contacted the FCC, and FTC. I used to be a bill collecor and this not legal how they collecting money.

This has happened to me twice in the last 6 months......most recently a guy named Steven Smith is calling with the same story, that I have a pending case & charges being filled against me blah blah blah. He's been calling my place of employment & hounding me for an address to serve the papers too. I told him if he could locate my cell number & my work number then he definitly has the means to locate my address! What an IDIOT!!! Not to mention all the numbers he has called me from, which has been several, are listed as scams.

Mike, I had the same thing happen to me today.  Someone named Jason Glass called and wanted to know the company's protocol for serving someone.  I told him he was the person he was looking for and he said "Oh".  Well here's the number you need to call 855-227-0263 and told me my Claim #.  So I called and they wanted a credit card to pay the full amount right now.  I told him I didn't have it, we are living on one income right now.  I got a call back from Jason Glass asking if I had worked it out because he hadn't received a release order.  I said, No. and he said that he's getting ready to leave to do his runs and he'll make me one of his last stops.  We'll see what happens.

Ya, they have been hitting a lot of people this week, making threats and lying about attorney representation. Its all bogus, do not give them a penny, all the information they use is stolen or has been sold to them through illegitimate means. They are committing fraud and violating your rights. They throw the Fair Debt and Collection Act right out the window. Scum buckets!

first i received a call from someone claiming to be an investigator Steven Jones who was hired by a firm called nationwide. Mr Jones also called my HR dept at work. He said he had charges that were being delivered but stated I could call Nationwide @ 855-227-0263 and give the a claim number. He said if I contacted them and settled this before he brought the papers I would be safe. I called and they stated this was for a pay day loan, through check n go and that they were in the process of filing charges. they wanted my credit card number and said this would prohibit Mr Jones from serving me papers at my employer. Long story short this company is a straight SCAM!!!! Tell them to pound sand if they call you. They are scumbags and karma will get them in the end.
