Sammy--
These are EXTORTIONISTS, plain and simple. There is NO "debt"--and you need to let them know this in addition to reporting them to the FTC and your local law enforcement. If you send them money (which you will never see again), they will only keep calling and demand more and more. If push comes to shove, have your phone number disconnected and changed to an unlisted one.

This same place called me yesterday, and they also called this morning. They said i was going to be served with court papers for an over due online cash advance. Which I never took out! A woman also called me stating she was from the county i live in. She said i was being served and they would have a sheriff deliver them to me at my home. I am not sure whether this is true or not. Did anyone every get served from these people?

the do contact anyone and everyone that they can connect to you resourcing the original address and any other address you have had that is available to them from public records which include birth certificates, public phone numbers (land lines) and any references you may have used when you applied for your original credit request.

You can ask them to cease and decist all communications and they are legally obligated to leave you alone unless they actually follow through and file suit.  If they do, you will be served by a local official if they have a valid address to find you at.

Debt Collector
I get a phone call almost every six weeks from this number. They claim my mobile number is attached to a collection file for someone else's name and they can't remove it because it is a permanent part of this "other person's" profile.  Load of crap if you ask me, as I've had this number almost 18 years and the calls only started in March 2012.

Yes - they are debt collectors and they try to use scare tactics to get people to pay old bills.  The companies they work for bought a bundle of bad assets from lenders who wrote off their bad debts and were able to collect pennies on the dollars to from these type of companies.

Please be aware that when you don't pay your bill to the original lender, they sell it to collection agencies who keep recycling the "old debits" until they can find someone to pay something on them if they're lucky - that's how the caller gets paid - based on how much they collect.

If it's a legitmate company, they will be able to mail you the information on the bad debt, the orginal lender and will probably offer to settle the debit for less that is owed.

Hi, I recieved a call from this number also saying that it was process verification and telling me there was a possible lawsuit being file and that I need to call the 855-234-7604 with my case number and arrange for papers to be delivered. now, I have had a lot of debt over the years and I have been served papers before and nobody has called to "alert" me first, nor have they stated that they will be delivered either to my home or work. When legitimate papers are filed, they usually go through the local Sheriff office and that person delivering them calls from a local number to arrange a time to deliver them. This is so frustrating, its bad enough when it is a judgement and legitimate but if this is a fraud that is harassment. Has anyone actually gone through and been served papers from them?

Got a call from Chris Walker to contact this 855-234-7604 with a case/file number. That he is from a processing server service and will be sending documents out to my resident to apear in court. I contacted this number and it's because I am beig sued for a credit card that I owe 3000.00 for from HSBC. I'm not sure if this is fraud as I have yet to get the documents. They were supposed to be delivered to me yesterday. I was home the majority of the day and no show. I would like to see from the above posters if this is truely a fraud and if they had their papers served to them. These people have contacted just about every family member of mine trying to embarase me. Which it didn't work. Good luck to everyone that is dealing with these people. Do your research before you give them any of your money.

Chris Walker from Process and Verification left a message stating that I have a possible lawsuit and that failure to contact him may result in adverse decision. I called the phone number and they were looking at my previous address and asked the date of birth. I didn't give out my date of birth and instead asked what they had in their records. They said that they had the wrong person and that the lawsuit from coming from some company in California and in which I have no affiliation. He then said that everything was fine.

Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

This company did the same thing to me today.  They told me when I answered the phone and I was being sued,they gave me a number to call. They called me and told me I was being sued but wouldn't say by whom.  Stated I needed to be available for some documents they are going to deliver and only 2 attempts would be made to deliver these documents and if I couldn't be available then I needed to contact the issuing agent at 855-234-7604.

This company did the same thing to me today.  They called me and told me I was being sued from a credit card debt fom 2007.  They told me when I answered the phone and I was being sued,they gave me a number to call.  when I called the same guy answered who just called me.  Said I was being sued for over $3000.00.  I told them since the suit was filed, I needed the case number of the suit and where it was filed.  He said he would email me with it....so two hours later, no info from him.  It scared me at first, said the were going to do a wage garnishment, lean on property, tax refund garnishent, etc.  I googled them and found this page.....they are full of it...they will not get money from me.  Do not pay these people, they are a fruad.
