i had the same number call my childrens wife which i really have nothing to do with to give me a message to call a chris shaffer refering to a summons....soooo i called and there was a guy named jeremy and mitchelle which sounded like the same person...of course same scenerio had to grab my legal file well when i proceeded to tell them it was a scam and asked for the information in regardess to my " debt" they got rude and told me i should know what debt i owed..and proceeded to hang up on me..wow some professionalism...then when i called back he told me there was a no legal department that it was the firms customer service...so i proceeded to give them a taste of their own medicine and called them several times to inform them that what it felt like to be called serveral times and harrassed by sonme scammers needless to say they are "sending" my debt back to the original biller to let them handle it....and oh i didnt stop calling them there i just kept right on calling...soooo guess what happened next yup they wont answer my calls now...i am getting ahold of an attorney tomorrow i feel like my privacy was invaded and they had to of obtain it the illegal way....i dont even have my kids dads home number we use cells so thats a crock of s***....

Wow this is amazing that they are so uniformed.  Yes my episode just began last week.  I had a call to come in on my cell phone with a blocked number.  I answered and there was a guy saying that he had be contacted to deliver a summons or some legal documents to me.  He quoted an address that I haven't lived at in approximately 2 years.  He asked for me to give him my current address.  I asked him who he represented and for what debt was he collecting on.  He refused to give me any of that information.  He gave me 855-247-1941 and said that BA Group was the company whose interest he was representing and to call them for further information.  I immediately did.  To make a long and silly story short I spoke with a man that answered saying that he was acting as a receptionist.....wow this voice is beginning to sound very familiar.  He says that my file was "upstairs" in the legal department and that he would transfer me.  About 3-5 minutes go by on hold and wow I guess this guy's father, brother or first cousing must work in the legal department because he too sounds like the other two guys with a poor attempt at trying to change his voice.  People you may or may not have a valid debt out there but they are violating so many "Fair Debt Collection" laws that it is unbelievable.  I just challenged them and called them the pond scum that my financial mentor Dave Ramsey says they are "IF" they are who they say they are.

A person named Pat martin keeps calling my job  telling me to call this number. I call this number and it seemed really shady. He keeps asking for an updated home address. I am a single mother with two little girls. I refuse to give someone with "legal documents" my home address. He couldnt even give me a number to respond to his shady accusations.

I received a call from a courier service to call this number back. I called the number back and gave them this case number. I was told by someone named Mark that my case was transfered to the legal department. Someone from the legal department named Allen asked me if I signed some legal documents. He did ask me my name or nothing, but me on hold for 5 minutes. I just hung up. Both Allen and Mark sounded like the same person, just disgused their voices. The person from the courier service told me to call them first before and we can make arrangment to meet so he can serve me the papers. I contacted my lawyer and the case number he gave me is invalid. What scammers!!!!
