A man left a message from this number on my phone.  They keep asking for a Nicole Gray. (?????????). We have no idea who this person is or what company they are calling from.  They always leave an account number.   They have been calling about three weeks now with threatening messages.  I just never answer my phone.   I am getting ready to turn these calls over to the Attorney General's office as I have done in the past.  They have been able to stop the calls in the past.

Received a call from someone that said they were a Mr Williams at Capital Litigation and gave some CR #. I called back and they started to ask personal information and wanted me to verify this information.  I wouldn't give any information over the phone which any bank will tell you never give personal information over the phone.  This guy said "well to bad because I don't know who I am talking to but just sit back and wait for a court summons coming from the courts."  I said Ok and he hung up.  I am writing them a letter at the above address and tell them they need to provide proof of any debt if they have any and to stop calling me.  So watch out for these crooks.

"Giving a courtesy call" in-deeeeed .... more like an extortion call. A real court clerk would not be so secretive when asked about a pleading, and would not be helping a debt collector scare money from your pants.

I have got calls from the 855-271-1679 claiming to be with Capital Midigation. That a complaint came across their desk. when i called they are claimed that it was for bank debt that i dont owe. Wanted me to make payments, when i told them i would have to look into it before i sent any money they threatened to send it to court. They are getting very creative got a call today was a 660 area code that i was familiar with so answered it. A guy claiming to be with the local court in that area code. He was giving a courtesy call that a proposal for motion for wage garnishment was at his desk and that if i wanted i could call Mathew Kennedys office at 855-271-1679 to try and resolve the matter before a judgement was made. I asked him for the courts number(claiming i didnt have caller id) he wouldnt give it to me. when i asked him what the motion for garnishment was for what it said on the paper he said it didnt say. I called the court talked with a lady she said that was the courts number but couldnt figure out what guy would be calling me from their. No papers came across her desk. asked me if he said who i owed the money to, he didnt know. So they are starting to get stupid with taping into others phone lines to show caller id as another number.

Be aware these people are getting very creative with their calling. I believe they are hacking into other phone lines. So it may not come up as a 855 number. When I got a call from a familiar area code i answered it. Guy claimed to be with the local Court House. He wouldn't give me the Court house number when i told him I didnt have caller ID. He told me he had a piece of paper for a motion for garnishment of wages and was giving a courtesy call, but when asked what it was for he would not tell me  and he said it didnt say on the paper. when i called the court house and spoke with the lady. she asked me did he say what it was for I told her no. She thought that was odd.Also looked up to see if there was any cases in the system. Gave her the number that came across caller ID and she said it was a court number but didnt know of any guy that worked in the clerks office. Gave her the 855 number and the mans name that i was told to ask for at that number.

Thanks for your post! I have gotten a call from this number as well. The said they was with "Capital Midigation"He said that I had a complaint brang against me that came across his desk. I asked him what for he said, " Was for a Bank Account and it was over draft fees. This account had been closed 10 years ago. I told him I would have to look into it to make sure the debt was real and that I owed it before I would ever send any money. Then he threatened to send it to the court house and have judgement placed and that he was recording the conversation and was going to send it to the court house. I called a lawyer he told me to wait to see if I got any papers. Today I got a call from a 660 area code which i was familiar with. He asked me by my name and i asked who he was and he said he was with the Court House and a motion for wage garnishment came across his desk and he wanted to give a courtesy call to let me contact a Mr. Mathew Kennedy at the same number 855-271-1679. When I asked him to give me the court house number so i can call, since i told him i dont have caller id he wouldnt give me the number. So i looked up the number online called the court. Talked with a lady she said the 660 # was the court house but no one called from her office. Its a small court house so they would know everyone. So not doing anything unless i hear back from that lady to confirm that someone that works at the courts actually called me.

and crooks like these use the auspices of debt collection to scam people into believing they owe a debt that is nonexistent because they are fraudulent.Be very wary of this crime.

left a message on my answering machine regarding a filed complaint, and that I am listed as a respondent to some sort of claim and I or my legal counsel need to contact them immediately at this number, 855-271-1679 before any further actions.commences, Your complaint number to refer to is: CR  1607

Scam, ignore the calls.

I received a phone call from a man identifying himself as Mr. Fred Chandler accusing a someone with my last name with a crime and that they were going to be arrested for fraud.  When I asked what this what kind of fraud, he got angry and refused to answer my questions.  I asked to speak to his supervisor and was told that he wouldn't transfer my call.  Very Rude!

Robocall.  Called our business, looking for "Maria Feltner"  Claimed we were a respondant in a claim.

Just got a call from 1-855-271-1679 a guy said his name was "mr. Williams" and said he had a warrant out for my arrest because of a bank. When I told him he didn't know what he was talking about. And asked more questions he hung up. So I called back and spoke with a "Ken Kennedy" and he was just as bad. Don't fall for this scam.! And report it!

Robotic voice message looking for a last name I haven't used in 20 years. Said my name is involved in a complaint and for me or legal council to call this number back.  Didn't call.
