I did NOT research any cars online, but still got this call. If a caller is not in my contact list, I do not answer. If I get a voice messge, then I will decide to call back or delete. No message. No call back. Just annoyed to get several junk calls each day.

Have had 3 calls in the last week.  Think its because I responded to a flyer from Tracy Auto Center on my cell phone - won't ever do that again no matter how enticing the offer might seem.  I don't ever answer the call because its not a number I know.  But the calls are annoying.

Get a call everyday and if I answer there is no one on the line. Needs to stop.

P.S.:  Moreover, when I requested an Internet price quote I must have a phone number listed in Edmund.com.  This call is now basically "two weeks overdue", or is it just a call during a "slow time", because it is a cold day after a minor snow storm just passed by.

There are a lot of "SPOOFING" going on in this world.  That is, if they are proven of FAKING ID for caller ID display because of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) subscriptions.  Possibly VOIP allows one to prescribe what to display on CallerID of phones or display devices, and thus purposely "outsmarting" many unsuspecting users/owners of phones to answer them (as intended.)

Yes, someone already said DARCARS of Silver Spring, MD.  I can see the reason they called.  

I was helping friends successfully purchased a car from them two weeks ago.  I was one of the people listed for "REFERENCE", the silly kind of this type of "marketing practice" that I had never seen at many other places nearby (like Antwerpen Toyota, Antwerpten Honda, Norris Nissan West, etc.)

Got a call from this # twice today and one last night, not looking to buy anything !! CRAZY !!!

By calling them back, before you check the number here, you've given them 2 pieces of information. Because of the way pricing works with toll-free (they pay for the call) you cannot block your caller ID. That's why many of these scams call you from a spoofed local number, and then have you call back a toll-free number. So when you call - they get your full name, & number.

17 calls is what I got from this b***s*** #. I blocked my phone # & called them back to see who it was> & guess what? Even though I blocked my number they still knew what it was. Government should do some focusing on these characters.

This number 855-275-7181 keeps calling my cell phone,  but when I answer they just hang up!!!! This is getting VERY annoying!! How do I get them to stop?

These calls are indeed annoying especially if you're in the market to buy a new/used car frequently like I am.  They're nothing too invasive, just following up for car dealerships that you've requested quotes/test drives from.  The solution to end the calls is to simply take the call, tell them you've heard from the dealership and scheduled an appointment or you've changed your mind, etc., and boom, no more calls.  

You need to tell them this. This is just a board for letting others know who calls you and the callers do not own this board.
