I've been getting calls from various numbers connected to these people for a while now. The name they claim to be calling is not mine. My guess is that they just robo-dial everyone in the country with anything close to whatever name they're after. So I'll just keep blocking every number they call from.  

I received the same call for my son, same deal, but I'm on the Do Not Call Registry
and leveled a complaint.

my bills are paid always have been, but i got the same call saying they were getting ready to serve me papers for court. when i asked for case number to give to my attorney, they hung up. so it has nothing to do with unpaid bills, its losers, who wants to take from other cause they are to stupid or lazy to get a job ,

I recieved a call from a steve siling from ruben-yates, 855-276-3103 is the number he left. The call was restricted, he said he was investigating me for fradulant checks I wrote from 5/3 bank. I have never wrote fradulant checks in my life. I have no idea how they can get away with trying to get money for this, shouldn't I have been given anything by mail?

I owe no one any money, 0, nada, zero, nothing....so when they call with a recorded message that is so f*ing urgent that I call back with in 24 hours or else, they will need to call at least one of their 12 times with an actual human being on the phone AFTER I receive a certified mail informing of the substance of their urgency.  Until then, since I have broken no laws, owe no one any money, no bills other than utilites they will have to use a better method of phone bullying to get me to call back and listen to some moron unloading BS on me.  I worked to hard and to long being a productive citizen to have this happen to me.

They keep calling my work and leaving messages on other peoples voice mails about me...I have no idea who they are?  They have also left messages on my friends and families phones.  Isn't this illegal? And how do I stop this?

I have been receiving calls from David Michael Anthony from Rubin and Yates and he is calling my inlaws, mom and dad, sister and brother in law, my 15 year old daughter and my cell and work numbers.  First of all I have not received anything in writing from this law office and when I read on about this company it sounds to me like they are frauding the American people.  I have no problem trying to pay back debt but I refuse to be bullied into doing so and I refuse to pay thousands of dollars on a small few hundred dollar balance.  I lost my job 3 years ago which was a high paying position and the money in my family goes to our mortgage, and bills needed to feed my children and keep my house operating properly.  I will pay what I owe if I see what it is they are looking for and their tactics are making more angry.  I already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in New York and if this keeps happening I will file a complaint with the Attorney General in New York.  There are laws that protect you from these type of collectors.  It is the Fair Debt Act and I cannot believe anyone falls for these type of scare tactics.  I have been frauded in the past and refuse to be frauded again!!!!  Keep reporting these types of people.  If anything it will help you feel better about it.  Not only that telling a person that they can go to jail for an outstanding debt is so untrue.  There is no such thing as debtor's prison so that threat is not going to work with me!!!!

I got a voice mail from this number that he gave to me daying he was a lawyer for my daughter and her ex husband that had a formal complaint on me.  I didn' t get the name of the company, and being extremely upset, I accidentally deleted it.

I got the same call Monday June 18. Brook Cedro said I was a person of interest and needed to call them back and she also had a case number. I called back but she would not give me any information. Only wanted to transfer me to someone else. I said not and hung up.

I HAD A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE WITH RUBEN AND YATES (AS IS THE CORRECT NAME OF THE COMPANY). ONCE I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE REGARDING MY CASE FILE AND WAS INFORMED THAT I OWED ON A BILL (I ACTUALLY DID OWE), I PAID MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY WITH A CREDIT CARD OVER THE PHONE. NO MORE INTEREST, FEES OR PENALTIES WERE ASSESSED TO MY OUTSTANDING BILL AND I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM RUBEN AND YATES THAT I WAS ABLE TO FORWARD TO EXPERIAN AND USE TO UPDATE MY CREDIT REPORT. PERHAPS THE PROBLEM LIES IN YOUR INABILITY TO CORRECTLY RETURN A PHONE CALL OR HANDLE OUTSTANDING DEBT.

I just received the same call from Rubert and Yates...Stating that it was a law firm. I googled it... no such firm, so I goggled Michael Rentoul and came to a site with 80 complaints, then I goggled the number and found myself here... My daughter called in a panic and thought something was wrong and gave me this info... I was a person of interest and I or my attorney needed to call 1-855-276-3103 X 133 with the case number from a Brook Sedrough and that they were filing in Galveston County for intent to defraud on a loan. Guess I need to get e lawyer to sue for fraud and harassment!
