Yes I also received a call from that number looking for a Patrick.  I dont know how they got my cell number.  I called the number and it said Oakwood.  They left a message on my cell about how I've been served. How do I stop these calls?

I have gotten several calls to my cell phone and to my family members cell phone from people who claim to be private locators for a collection company called Oakwood. I wrote everything down. The "locators" said they were pursuing me on some serious charges and I needed to appear for pre-litigation. They gave me this phone number to call (855) 298-3412 and asked me not to use 1 in front of it or it would not go through. They also gave me a claim number to use. I called the number to see what it was all about because they had called several other relatives of mine with threats. I spoke with "Tyson" who said he worked in the claim dept at Oakwood and he stated that I owed money to Check N Go. I told him I did not and he said they were going to file charges for breach of contract and fraud if it was not paid within 24-48 hours. I am getting an attorney because they violated the fair debt collection act.

Im an employer and received a call from a very pushy "private investigator" trying to locate an employee of mine and wanted the address to her place of work to come serve her with some paperwork. I explained due to the nature of her job he could not serve her at work and asked for his number so I could give a message to my employee. He wouldnt give his number due to the nature of his job as well. He said he was calling on behalf of Oakwood and left this number. He was very pushy and wanted info. Don't give any personal info to anyone calling from this number!!

A gentleman named Ian Raider called me also.  He said he was representing Oakwood as well.  He tried to tell me the same thing about my son.  He had called my daughter-in-law earlier and left a message to call him back.  She tried to call him at 254-217-8104 and got a message that the extension did not exist.  This is the same number he called me from.

This number called me saying that my soon is in trouble and having charges brought against him only thing is my soon does nothing,

I had the same thing happen on tues. Constant calling, harrassing and threats being made. Please people you have to report this company to the FTC - federal trade commission and to your states attorney general.

Company keeps calling my family harassing them and me to when I call the number it says the company's name is oakwood who is this

These ppl keep calling my work, my cell and my family members. Anybody know who this and why they are so persistent and harassing me?
