Calls and HUG UP every time.

I am so sorry. I get those too, my ex died,most of my debt is because of him, I also get calls from another deceased relative. Don't know why they keep finding me.

This number has been calling my father in Florida looking for me and I live in CT!  The name they are asking for is my maiden name from 1997!  How can I stop this?   My father is 77 and doesn't need calls up until 930 pm.  He told them they had the wrong number and they still call!!! Urghhh

Is it illegal to Talk filthy to someone that calls you. Whenever it is a woman calling I make like a Phone sex number has called me and have my way with myself in great detail for the caller.

we all need to start calling them back many times to tie up their lines ..

they are scammers but FYI 786 is a Miami area code 904 is a north Florida area code there are many in Florida

They are call me and they are not leaving a msg. I will like them to stop call me and how can I do that

AMENDMENT - THE NAME OF THE COMPANY IS IN FACT:

My phone number, that I have had for 3 plus years,  appears to have previously issued to someone else.  Despite telling this caller that I have no knowledge of the person referred to by them (a french sounding name), they have persisted in calling me.
Short of changing my phone number, I am at my wits end to know how to stop this nuisance.

They called a week ago and asked for somebody I don't know, I told them they have the wrong # , to erase it from their records and they still call, everyday,  what a waist of time and money!

The company name is Commonwealth Financial. Just call the number back, ask them to remove you from their list and they will.

I just got my new i phone and got a call from this number and it appears to be a collection agency. I have no outstanding debts and don't know how they got this number. Please block it .

Good tip, thanks. I was able to block the number on my Verizon Wireless number by accessing my account online. The block is good for 90 days, so hopefully they'll give up by then!

How small do you think Florida is? There are over a dozen area codes, including 786 which is Miami-Dade.

if you get these calls and you have century link phone service you can do the following:

1. Block the call --  Dial 60. then when prompted to block last call HIT -- #01# AND IT WILL BLOCK IT AND NO MORE CALLS FROM THEM. It will give them a message saying number is no longer in service.

harassing phone calls for the past to weeks

I've been getting one or two calls a day from this number for a couple of weeks now, and they never leave a voicemail. It's a Miami number, but I haven't lived in or had any business in that area for almost two years, so I know they have no legitimate reason to be calling. I just filed a complaint against them with the FCC and urge you to do the same: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and/or http://www.donotcall.gov depending on whether your number is on the do-not-call registry.

I just received a phone call from this number from a Mr. Russell for a verification on my address. He says he is from Drake and Asosociates and my lawyer should contact him ASAP. The message says that is it about an allegation of fraud of check on his desk. He gave me a case number. My mom works at the courthouse and the local county doesnt have case numbers that start with the letters taht he gave me. Please be aware. I hve been getting phone calls from these scammers for over a month. This number shows up in Florida but 786 is not florida. 904 is the area code in florida.

this number called my phone and it was for my husband and when i asked them what this was about and he said it was personal and he would not give me any info on this so i said he is my husband so how personal an it get if you cant tell his wife so i told them not to call back if you cant tell me what you want my husband for

This number calls my phone everyday 3 times a day and leaves a 2 second voicemail of nothing and I am getting very tired of this....This is harassment and they need to stop.....FYI my phone isnt even working but i can check the voicemails and i just had 19 vm from them this really needs to stop.

Called the number back on a Majic Jack line and it was an attempt to collect a debt recording then woman answered and I asked what firm were they with and she said Front Line Asset Management.
I advised he I never heard of them and she said "OK".
But, I did not give her a do not call info on number they called on. BBB info

I have been getting calls also. They asked to speak to my husband who died 20 years ago. We had no debts and I had calls like this a year ago. Tired of calls at 8:30 am til 8:45 pm,2 and three a day, no message or anyone speaking,No lonnger answer.You can try calling 211 and tell them what is going on.They will refer you to the Federal Trade Commission In Washington and you can report the harrassment. They were very nice to speak to and they help stop them for awhile. I will  be calling again.Hope this helps you.

In Florida, the statute is 4 years if there is not a written contract and 5 years if there is a written contract.  Entering into an agreement to repay the debt does not reactivate the Statute, but making a payment (of any amount) does reactivate the statutory period.
