This is 100% a scam. They know some information. The guy knew my name when he called. Call bank of america and complain. It is horrible that Bank of America knows this is going on and will not do anything about it.

I just got a call from this number and they had my cc information except for the 3 digit on the back of the card. What was scary about it was the guy said he needed the number to verify that I was indeed the owner of the card. BOA will never ask for this type of information. They verify your information without asking for your cc information, because it is already on file. I immediately contacted Bank of America and got a new card issued.

THIS IS 100% A SCAM. THEY ARE NOT BANK OF AMERICA!! THEY WANTED TO DO A CREDIT CARD "BALANCE TRANSFER" AND LIKE AN IDIOT I GAVE OUT MY INFO. THEY KNEW MY CREDIT CARD BALANCES, MY NAME, ADDRESS AND EVERYTHING. I REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENING TOO LATE! THESE JERKS NEED TO BE STOPPED!! DON'T GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!! This is a fraudulent number. B of A or any financial institution will NEVER call you and ask for your information!!! How they know you opened an account I don't know; it's scary. I informed B of A but there's really nothing they can do. Though you won't be responsible for fraud charges with them (that's what they told me); B of A can't protect your other cards. I repeat THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

They asked for my name and said they were from bank of america and took down my last four digits on my credit card with the expiration date on the card, and they also ask for my address. I am not familiar with this number.
