I have paid for this and would like to get my money back!
I think we must take action against Comcast for letting our account details out for such scammers to abuse.

The scammers are still going strong. Jennifer who sounds like her name is not jennifer called for a $270 green money dot card. She had my name, address, email, bill details and total, not to mention the last four of my ssn. seriously comcast, you make enough money off us to atleast try and protect our information. This is pathetic. AT&T will be here friday to hook up my new internet. I cant wait to cancel and hopefully take back my personal information before they sell it to any other countries.

Yesterday afternoon someone named Harry Miller called my cell phone about the promotion of prepaying $400, I will get 12 months voice and internet service from Comcast. I told him that I don't believe it and I was busy at work. When I got home, he called me again and told me to check my email. I checked my email, he was telling me the 3 steps of paying them. Buy a scratch-able prepaid Green Dot Money Pak card using cash from any stores like Walmart, CVS, Walgreen, 7-11, etc. then call them back and pay them. After I read the email, I called Comcast, they told me it is a scam.

When I was called to my Surprise...All of my information was in there systems....Very persistent Scam artists....They speak very pleasant & they try to convince you to take advantage of the offer..Well my boyfriend told me to call Comcast  & verify because it sounded to good to be true!!..Comcast told me they would never expect customers to pay months in advance....I gave them the number & when Comcast attempted to call while i was on the line 855-328-7913 says its disconnected so they must have Comcast blocked...SCAM offered 50% off my bill on my tripple play pkg... the bill reduced to $60 a month & a free kindle Fire...well they wanted $360 Which covered 6months but expected the payment on A Green Dot money pak card....i received emails & text....& also was able to see they were calling from CAMBODIA & when I asked the Guy said No in Washington lol it sounds like a Call center..This is Sad I'm glad I didn't get scammed but I feel sorry for who did & who will because they haven't been caught!!!!

I received a call from this number and they were supposedly doing a Comcast promotion. Here is the email

I have been receiving calls from 8553287913 aswell. The funny thing is that I answer like a business and they don't ever speak just hang up. It kinda works for me.

I got the call also but what i don't get is why arent comcast notifying there customers of this scam. Comcast obviously was hacked which i believe comcast bare some responsibility. They had my email address phone number address and the information of my package deal at comcast. Comcast should warn there customers!

Caller ID said "service" - I answered and no response. They hung up.
I've had other calls that the ID was also "service" but a different number.
I usually don't answer this type of call.

I got same call from same number today and I was about to buy cash card for Green Dot Money Pak to pay 1 year discounted bill of $300. I am using rented modem when I enquired about the rent they told I have to pay rent amount *12 but my monthly rent is not matching with what ever they told, so called comcast and they confirmed its fake.

Got called from this number. It is scan. Don't call back . it tried to let you call back and charg a lots fee .

Just got a call from 855 328-7913 saying he was calling from Comcast.  GREAT offer - 1/2 what we were paying a month for 2 years and fab free gifts!  

We almost fell for it - except, they wanted a "pre-paid cash card" - that's when the lights went off in our heads!  We checked Google and say all the SCAM comments and hung up on him.

Yes, got a call from 8553287913, It's complete fake call, don't get in to trap.

Fake...fake....fake.. call.  Evn, I Had threaten to them and started using abuse language in Hindi, that made very clear that it's fake call , manage from India.

They called me today, so I called the Comcast 800 number.
And they tried to explain it as a California Market Offer
So I insisted that Comcast investigate who is leaking
personal information to scammers.

I just recieved a call and i was about to accept offer. The person says he is Jack and his employee id is 25R1. when he ask for payment i said i am going to keep you on hold and will confirm same by calling comcast. since i said this and about to dial comcast# he disconnected.

Be careful. I spoke to comcast as well and they confirm there is no promo going on for paying 6months at one time and getting 6months free. He also offer me a free tablate too and thats where it sound so cheap!!!

It's a scam they aren't with comcast

I have received repeated calls from this number. Each time I answer, the line disconnects within five seconds.

Follow up on my previous message. the guy tried tocall me again and I gave him a piece of my mind. he hung up and didn't call again. The problem I have now is that I sent an email to Comcast to abuse@comcast.net and what I recieved was down right absured. They have told me that there isn't enough information provided DAH wake up Comcast. somone is using your name and email address to scam your own customers and you are doing nothing about it.

Our next step is to file a law suite against Comcast for privacy breach. anyone interested?

I got a call from this number saying they are from COMCAST. The promotion sounded too good to be true... free kindle w/ buy six months with six months free... blah blah... To verify the call, I googled the number and learned they are a SCAM!!
