Yesterday morning I started getting back to back calls from these scammers, but it said unknown number on caller id. I was at work and I had 8 missed calls within 10 mins. I answered b/c I thought it may be family emergency. She started out saying she was calling from " ********* county governments office" (my current county of residence) and had papers that needed to be served to me due to fraudulent check (what!?!) but she said she noticed I had no criminal record or any other "fraud charges" so she grabbed my file before one of the deputies served me at my place of work..she said she called my workplace (she gave an employee id that was WAY off) and they told her that I was an employee...due to my recent separation from my husband...I got very upset and she could tell I was confused and crying. She turned on the nice voice and told me that if I went ahead and paid court fees, lawyer fees of 1,300.00..then it would be over with right away and it would not go on my record/i wouldn't  have to go to court. I then asked for her name and number (she didn't know I have several friends that work for the county, police, sheriffs dept, etc) automatically she started stuttering and said that she wasn't a county employee, but worked for an agency that helps. She then offered a one time fee b/c I had no record. That was 320.00!! If I couldn't pay that immediately she could do a payment plan but that total would be 500.00. I was very upset and kept asking to call her right back, get her name, number and she told me if I would do 25.00 today by credit card...that would hold off further legal action so I could get my funds together. Well na?ve little me did it!!! She gave me the number and an extension but nobody will answer/return calls and I immediately checked my acct and they took 40.00 out!!! I don't know what to do. I didn't do anything nor did my husband!! I guess I will go to the police dept Monday and order another card!?! If anyone can help me...please!!

Do Nothing!  They are scamming you.  They are trying to scare the BeeJeeBees out of you and into doing something stupid.   They don't need any card information......just because they demand it?
Anyone can be aggressive over the phone. "A Desk Set Commando"   Tell them to go ahead and serve you,  but don't expect a tip for the pizza.    It's a scam!!!  Tell them you know it's a scam and  to FO.

I got a phone call from this people they said they are coming to my work place to serve me they want my card information they are very aggresive I don't know what to do

Ms. Lewis from Landmark called originally introducing herself as Broward County court representative. Had all my information telling I commited fraud and she was going to put a lien on my drivers license. Very Funny.... When I asked her to give me her number to call me back, she gave me 855-332-2620.  These people are aggressive and abusive. I told her to go find an honest paying job. She had the nerve to call down Jesus......

They called my mothers cell phone saying i put in a fraud claim and if my mother loves me she will delay this message or i will go to jail. They left there number i called and it says its a landmark company. I dont know how they gotten my mom first and lastname.

Called my wife's cell number looking for my EX-wife saying something about a check fraud and she had 48hrs to call them??? I thinks this is a scam. They left a person of contact but but no company name. Its got to be a scam.
