I just read this comment and I now believe this is a scam. This people sent me a letter saying someone stole my Identity. If so, I wish them good luck. My credit is no GOOD.

Some googling lead to several accounts of the incident (including ones posted on .mil sites) and it seems that the incident did take place and that the offer is legitimate. However, I didn't find anything linking the PO box to SAIC.
Regardless, Credit Monitoring has nothing to do with missing medical information and though it's a very nice (and prompt for a large company) it's not worth much in terms of countering the potential damage done.

So the conclusion is that the incident is real, but the PO box is unconfirmed.

Late father received letter similar to one I received today from SAIC regarding an employee 'losing' thousands of TRICARE patient data information. Form for 'free year credit scan' asks for name, address, date of birth and all things legiitmate agency would have on file.
SCAM SCUMBUG SINCE MY FATHER DIED 6 YEARS AGO AND EVEN THIS ADMINISTRATION WOULD BE AWARE OF HIS STATUS.
Tried calling 855 number, no answer. Will report to USPS for mail fraud and to TRICARE since return envelope is addressed

If they're legitimate they're dumber than the current administration. Franked envelope should at least reflect SAIC or a title other than a POB drop.
