I am getting pop-up windows on my computer that tell me to call this number. It says, "You have too many pop-ups." How ironic. I almost called the number but decided to research it first!

Tons of calls from this number (2-3 per day) Nobody on the other line when i answer, never leaves a message.

Geting calls 2-3 times a day for the last 2 weeks. Called back. Comcast. Told them to stop calling and they said it would take 30 days to remove me from their list. Really unbelievable on all accounts.

I got a call every bloody day for 2 weeks from this number. I never answer my phone unless I know who is calling me.  I finally googled the number and found this site.  I called them back and told them emphatically that I am NEVER going to want phone or cable added and I only want internet. She said she was going to place me on their "do not call" list and it may take 30 days to process.  I recommend you all do this so that at least one of these a-holes will knock it off.

They really need to stop freaking calling. I have never picked up, but it is happening so frequently I am close to answering to cuss them out.

No matter how many times I tell these people that I do not want to upgrade my service, they never stop calling. This has been going on for months.

how can you get rid of this pesky calling from comcast?

I got called from this number earlier today. There was a long pause before anyone spoke, and the person's enunciation and pitch of voice was so strange that I thought it was one of my 10-year-old's friends at first. Eventually I figured out that the call was from Comcast, probably calling because I've been an internet subscriber for six years with no cable, and hoping that was an oversight on my part. Now that I know what that number is, I can ignore it.

Just got this call but didn't answer it (in case it was a computer-generated call to see if this was a good time for a "customer service rep/telemarketer to call back in person).  I immediately Googled the number and found this site.  I am a Comcast customer and recently I switched from a cable modem to a wireless router.  If this is in fact Comcast, they are no doubt following up my "change in service" to see if (1) I'm happy with my purchase and (2) if I would like to add more services to my current service, which my wireless router will accommodate.  Glad I checked this site out.

stop calling, I will not pick up or call back

Thanks very much for sharing this information. This number has been trying to reach me day and night and just wouldn't stop for the past few weeks. When I answered, nobody is speaking on the other end. Very annoying!!!

They call 4-5 times a day, every day and hang up if I try to answer. They never leave a message and every other time I have called back I get a busy tone. I immediately called the number back a few minutes ago and the guy on the line answered with "good afternoon, thank you for calling comcast."

I asked them to stop calling me and hung up. I'm sure they will call again.

I also receive these calls because I use Earthlink through there lines and they really want me to switch. Since I am billed by them I am consided a customer and the do not call list does not apply :(

I am recently receiving these calls again under the same circumstances. (Internet services, but quit their cable TV services almost 2 years ago.) I have not picked up. I wish there was someone I could report this to in order to make these unwelcome telephone solicitation calls stop. grrr

This is indeed Comcast, under the guise of a "customer satisfaction survey".  It is really a telemarketing call wanting you to upgrade your services to the next level...

I started receiving these calls about 6 months ago. Because it was an unidentified number and they would call me in the middle of the day, I would never pick up and they would never leave a message.  Finally I called the number back after hours (545pm) one evening and found out it was Comcast.  I realize these calls started soon after I got rid of my television cable services (I still have internet with Comcast).  I continued to ignore the calls and they eventually stopped.  

Today, I received another call from them and I anticipate it is another effort to get me to resubscribe to additional services.  Not acceptable.

I called back the number 855-412-9714.  It said in recording that it is Comcast. It told me to wait for an agent, then I hung up.

Have been getting numerous calls from this number. When I finally answered, a woman on the line asked if someone with my name was available. I asked who was calling and she said, "Thank you, for questions please call ___________" and then hung up.
