I just got called and was asked for Elaine, a person I haven"t seen for at least 12 !/2 years who used my number when her phone was disconnects constantly and she obviously gave out the number without my permission. How low do people look for you and why don't they undate they files more often

Usually 'phone calls to our number, when no one is in, would end up in a voice mail,  but several calls from this number ( 1-855-422-8194 ) had been terminated without any message.
One or more persons before have stated that the calls are from BMO, and the caller asks for many financial related info.  I suspect some fradulent activity behind these calls.
My suggestion to those who receive calls of this nature is to ask the name and 'phone number of the caller and publish it for the benefit of others like me.

ONCE A DAY THERE IS A CALL FROM 1-855-422-8194 BUT THE PERSON(S) DO NOT LEAVE MESSAGES

Feed them as much fake info as you can...keep them on the line forever asking them to repeat what they just said, ask ridiculous questions- not even pertaining to the topic- yell at the dogs/kids, then repeat everything I just said. Drive them nuts, and go even further...keep calling them back, repeating the above...THEY will take you off their call list. heh heh
ya it's a little effort to get rid of them, but at least it's a fun way to do it, and with any luck they will tell their 'buddies' and they too will drop you like a hot potato.

Sometimes I just pick up the phone and slam it down. Other times I pick up and tell whoever is on the line to F-off! And on other occasions, I pick up and set the phone in front of the TV ? especially if we're playing a hot porno, preferably gay. And if I'm in the mood, I pick up and actually talk to the person calling ? if in fact there IS a person on the other end of the line. Make fun of their accent or whatever...maybe just talk dirty to them. The whole idea is simply to waste as much of their time as you're willing to give up of your own. Most important ? have fun with these f*cktards.

You should get a phone that has a mute option and turn off the ringer at night or get a call blocker. www.digitone.com. You should read the instructions and make that baby work, and good luck :-)

It was BMO trying to sell fracture Insurance...asked them to take me off their list but will block them anyways.

Yes it's BMO Insurance. I requested their Insurance information a couple of years ago. They send their stuff in the mail once a month. Now they're calling constantly, I don't pick it up.

Calls from this number every day of the week.  Sometimes twice.

this person called me and asked for very personal information, including my bank account and credit card numbers..who does that..wanting to know my age and my name?..when i wouldn't supply information , they hung up on me..

I believe this message is from BMO insurance, although we do not use BMO at all.
