Got a call from 'investigator' baker saying they received a fax fromcgs listing this as their number.  Didn't show number calling from, called three times in a row before leaving a message. Left some case number stating I was 'officially notified'.  A bunch of crap.

Same thing happen i got a call from a Tony Murrarry !!    said i owe  them for a loan from several years and he was going to send me to parish prison !!  i said ok send me the info he hung up and i never heard from him !! but knew some of my info as well !!

Yep, it's a scam. No one is going to threaten you or say that you are being taken to court. They are junk debt buyers. Greg Horowitz put me on hold for so long I had to hang up and call back. Also, they called twice in the same day to tell me the same exact thing. I'd never heard of them. They would not call you to ask for your address. Legit business would have it and would be able to verify the debt. Reps wont argue on the phone with you, hang up on you, or consistently call you back when you tell them not to call your number anymore.

These people are harassing me over a check that was taken care of 4 years ago

My parents got a call before 8 am giving her some garbage she didn't need to hear THEN they called my number. They told her there's a case against me.  They left a message for me (as I was on the phone with my mom) stating that I wrote bad checks somewhere & left an 855# though the call came from 716 area code labeled Buffalo, NY.  I don't even write checks..haven't in years Bills and groceries get paid by my debit card. Haven't lived at my parents for years either. I try calling before work and can't get through to anyone.

These people keep calling and leaving messages for my daughter who no longer lives with me.  I forwarded the message to her and she called the number to find out that it was a processing company, however, they would not give her any information about whatsoever and the person she spoke to said that her paperwork was no longer in their office.  She googled the number to find that it was a scam.  This has been going on for several months, stop calling my home!

These idiots keep calling my place of employment, and telling my manager they are going to send out someone to serve me with papers. Serve me! If your going to do so. I'm sick of hearing about it. This has been going on for 3 weeks.

Ok so is this legit or not. I got a call out of the blue. This loan was 3 years ago, and I was positive it had been paid. I had not been contacted until now. I made an arrangement but now I think I may have prosecutor call to see if it is a scam or not. Now I'm scared I live pay check to pay check. Patrick Murphy was the supposed attourney.

I told him he had the wrong person, that I had no such loan.  I told him to send me the paperwork. He said he already did and would not do it again.  He said they sent it to a P.O. Box. I told him I do not have a PO box and never have had one. He argued with me, called me a liar and told me I had to get a lawyer. Finally he said the full name of the person he was trying to reach... it wasn't even my name. This idiot never even thought to verify I was the person he was looking for. Once I told him that was not my name.. he hung up on me.  Complete and total jerk. Reading all the comments on this site and others, it seems these guys are scammers.

well the same things happened to me and i got served this morning and have to appear in court now i got hit with a 1000 dollar attorney fee... for a 300 dollar loan

Got a call from a Tony Baker who know my name, where I lived and told me he was going to send a process server to my home to give me papers. Never said what it was pertaining to.Lft a msg saying that I would need to contact the above # with an ext to call and reference a certain case#, I had a chose to settle out of court or if he was not able to locate e he would proceed with court and come to my job and have a supervisor served in my behalf. These people are scum bags that are trying to scare people and get money from them that they do not owe. I am going to report them to the FCC and the co does not exist when you call the #. They call u from a unknown # 1st.When u call the # it says Libery and then the ext says something else.

Yes, they call themselves Allstates Litigation Services and they called me regarding a loan from Cashcall I never finished paying.  The guy told me a process server was going to come to my work and serve me papers and that they would be calling my employer to find out the proper procedure for serving me at work.  Because they named a lender that I owed money too and threatened to serve me at my pIace of employment, I immediately agreed to start making payments to them.  Hovever, I gave them a prepaid debit card # and told them I would load it on Monday.  Then I decided to google the phone number and read all the postings about them.  I never loaded that prepaid debit card.  On the day my payment was due and my card delined a Mr. Brooks called me and warned me again that I would be served at work if they didn't hear from me by 4 pm ET.  I called them early the next morning and asked for their address so that I could send them a letter requesting a verification letter from them (a verification letter proving that they own the loan from Cashcall).  I spoke with a woman named Amanda and she said "Oh, we don't provide those."  That's when I knew for sure they were scammers.  Legally, they must provide you with a letter of verification proving that they own the debt.  I told her I wouldn't be paying them anything if they couldn't provide me with a letter of verification and also told her to stop calling me.  She said "O.K., and a process server will be serving you at work."  I said "o.k., and hungup.

Answering machine message told me I had passed a number of bad checks and today was the last day to clear this up or they will send someone with a summons. Call this number X354.

Well I don't use checks so obviously scam thing--called my mother and brother as well.

Sandra, If you do call them back, please dont give them any personal info or agree to pay them any money..tell them your going to call the FTC and State Atty Generals office and report them, tell them you have the voicemail tey left you and your going to forward that to State Atty G office..they will probably hang up..they are bottom feeder debt collectors or they have stolen info (ltmd) on you..they will promise to not sue you if you pay them...but its a scam.....tell them to contact your lawyer, ask for a physical address (they have to provide) or if your like me dont call them back....good luck

said i had a court summons and to call this number because i didnt show up for court, a Tom Bush ext:323..Never been to jail not even for a ticket...The voice mail said" All State, when I called back but I didnt talk to any one". This is absurded...
