Me and my family members have been getting calls from that same phone number 254-221-1083.  This guy leaves messages saying that there is a claim out on a family member and that person needs to call the phone number 888-839-1751. He speaks with a VERY firm voice stating that this is the last chance to call and about the claim.......There is also another phone number that they use is (626)228-2599.

If this scam company calls u ask 4 john verbocy...he is the scam owner---I used to work there and john and the collectors are snorting coke all day...what a joke ..

I am calling the police department with this number as well as registering a complaint with the FTC. If you attempt to contact myself or any friends or family members the next person you will be speaking with will be my attorney. How would you like to be on the receiving end of a warrant??????

My daughter got the same phone calls yesterday. Guess that company does not understand the power of the internet and how easily this information can be found. Called the number back and read them some of the verbatims...they hung up..imagine that. Don't be fooled by these folks. They are low life scammers.

So we got the exact same calls and threats all afternoon, the 855 number hung up on us three times when we tried calling to find out who the hell and what the hell this was. I called and threatened the lady not to hang up again and was very firm with how i talked to her. At the end of our conversation we had no idea what she was talking about, by the end of the conversation i told her my lawyer would be in touch with her and not to call again. She than hung up on us again for the 4th time, our lawyer hasnt been able to reach them now and we still dont know what or why theyre contacting us. Total scam just threaten them with your lawyer. did anyone actually ever get papers? nope!! what a sad world we live in.

a guy by the name of scott frost continues to call me from 254-221-1083 claiming to be a locator and needs to "verify your address". when i started asking him questions he did not have the answers, told me he could not tell me the name of the law firm suing me nor what it was about because the papers he had were, "sealed". he then gave me the 855 number along with a claim number. He called back stating, "you've had plenty of time to call and verify the information" blah blah blah. My husband took the phone and he refused to speak with him, my husband told him to stop calling and if there were legitimate Court documents to be served a process server would be at my door. the calls stopped for a few days but have started up again. how do i get him to stop?!!

These people are calling my place of business, and my boss is the kinda of person you don't want to know your business...they call my boss and said that they are a law firm and they needed to know were to serve  me papers. My boss them  asked if she wanted to talk to the Hr. manager..the lady replied no...but to get me the message and make sure I get it today.I want them to please stop calling my job I could really lose my job. I have been thru hell these past few years and I dont need anything else on my plate...please! Please! stop calling me  

This number has made it's way to calling my place of employment (Head Quarters)...I read the post above from the invidual that stated "theyre calling you people because you owe money. losers"...I do have the feeling you do in fact work for this company, why else would you be on this site for this exact number. I don't believe all these other people just decided to randomly put this number 855.505.3184 into the search and hmmm, let's see what I come up with. You came on here for a reason just the same as all the others, but your reason was to check on the comments. To see what feedback you were getting for the calls you and your friends are making.
See regardless who I owe money to, it's not you. Certified debt collection companies know they cannot threaten to arrest someone, curse someone or express any bodily harm to anyone they are attempting to collect debt from. If were in fact a legitimate collection agency you would know the rules to follow. Providing a claim number to intimidate or put a fire under someone is not producing real facts of you being a collection agency. If I call your number back and get nothing something is wrong. They never provide you with any details to who you owe this money to, when you done business with them or even how much you owe. This is not the first time I've been approached with a scam.
I can promise this, I will now make it a mission of mine to get all details I can to know exactly what I need to do for each one of these scams and numbers that call. For who I need to report them to and how I need to handle them, when they call. No need to attempt me, because you won't get anything from me. I know everyone that I owe money to, and it's not any of these people calling...so they can stop calling me.

I received the same call with pretty much the exact same dialogue. It is absolutely a scam. I blocked their number from my phone.

Received a call and my son received a call telling us that we are in trouble, about to get arrested and need to respond ASAP.  This is a complete Scam.

I got a call and Alex which probably isn't her name said she worked for a locator company and she needed to talk to so and so.  I asked Alex how she got my cell number and she said so and so used it on some kind of credit application.  "Some kind?" Ya, the 855 number can explain everything.  I told her she did not live here.  She asked if I could get a hold of her because she was in real trouble and needed to call 855-505-3184.  She asked me to write a claim number down just in case I knew her and tell her to call the 855 number.  So and so lives 1,300 miles from me and I haven't seen her in years.  I called her and told her what just happened.  She said they had called her 3 times today before calling me.  She told them to not call back.  So they called me!  If this is about raking in more money these 855 pests need to become a hedge fund company too big for the government to let fail.        

I am reporting this number to the police department. I am tired of people trying to con hard working people out of their money.

My mother received a call while she was at work that I was in a legal suit and that they need to verify my address. So she calls worried and frantic with a claim number. They told her that legal "action" was being taken and that I only have that day to respond. I do so research and find this site before I call back. When I call a lady named Lacey answers and says that I breached a contract with a credit company by commiting FRAUD. She asked if it was my intention to NOT pay them back, however not once did she say the call was being recorded. She said that the only thing she can do at that point to stop ANY further action on the credit company's part was if I paid half of the amount owed. I told her that I don't have that amount and she said that she just needed a card to put on file to put a hold on the claim. I told her that I would need a day to think about it yet she was VERY persistent to get me to pay. She said that I was at risk at receiving formal papers and after that there was nothing she can do. I didn't call back but she did the next day as well as another person, Tom Peterson with a very threatening tone. What's phishy about this is the next day they VERIFIED my address yet I didn't give them any information. The last message he left said if he doesn't hear back from by the end of today that he wishes me luck. And that I've been officially notified. I would just like to point out how much BS this is. They both said they represent "Creditor" ... that's the name. HA! SUCH a scam. Oh! and they also harassed my friend. who lives in a different city than I do, that she wrote me a message on Facebook expressing her concern and that they called 5 times in 1 day .Since I've changed my number they're trying really hard to reach me. This is absolutely ridiculous that they are threatening people with jail time, court orders and legal action JUST to collect money. Tell them to f*** themselves and that your lawyer is aware of the issue. That's it's being handled and to lose your number. Don't stress over this nonsense. Same goes for phone number 855-223-8220
