The first time I got a call, SCC Associates, the number was a 419 number. Now their new number is 877-239-4633. Their from upstate new York. Larry Svabota(PI) calls and threatens work and what not. Said they are lawyers. I'm from Ohio. They even have as far as what you owe them (the payday place). Sounds somewhat legit. I told them that I would call Midwest Ace Recovery or something like that and he said by all means, please do. They said they are not criminal charges, but the matter needs to be resolved. So, I am not sure what to think at this point anymore. Still trying to investigate. I know the numbers are constantly changing every week. See what happens. Hope that helps some people.

When they called did they say that they will meet your husband somewhere or his place of employment to serve him some papers. Bc this man called my husband and said that he wrote some bad checks and taking legal action. I think that's it a scam or somebody trying to make you pay.

Called my landlord and said they were about to file fraud charges.  Which they can't -- Ohio doesn't permit that for internet payday loans (see ORC 1321, fellas).  Have been working with the loans I have to pay them off, and am tired of the garbage. Has anyone followed through far enough to get a fax number, street address or email?

This company identified themselves as SEC Asscociates and called my parents house asking for me and them asked for my parents names. They indicated something about a Patent Fraud, we have not idea what they are referencing. They referenced a case number and started to ask all kinds of questions regarding names, addresses, phone numbers, SSN, we did not disclose any information. This definitely sounded like a SCAM, especially since they were asking for all types of information. My parents refused to disclose any information but did take their information.

I received the same call. The man said I had been served. It is from advanced america.

I have been getting these calls as well saying the same thing he says his name is investigator harrison and that im in a lot of trouble

Male voice left a message and said he had got my number through an investigation and he said he was investigating my husband and some bad checks that were wrriten under my husbands name.
