ca you please help me to stop this company from calling me, I've been telling them not to call, but they still colling.

Received call and left message to call this number along with a case number. The call was concerning my ex-wife, divorced for almost 24 years. They have called before and told them that I didn't know where she was and to stop calling me. Asked for the number they were calling to and I gave them my number. Said they would delete it from the records. I would doubt it because they said the same thing before and here they are calling again. I started to tell them that the next time they called, I would call my state attorney general and file a complaint against them - however, the lady said something smart and hung up on me. For those that continue to hear from them, contacting the attorney general of your state to complain may be a valid option particularly if they do not have a valid case against you.

Unknown number constantly calls my cell phone and work phone.  Never leaves messages at work, but on my cell today it was a lady stating that I "need to call 855-528-6100 within the next two hours or a decision will be made and proceeded."  And again stating a case number.  I have no debts in collection right now.  I have a very clear track of my finances.  It seems like the girl is from a call center.  Stop bugging me caller!!

This company called me stating I owed for a payday loan which I never made and is also illegal in my state.  they threatened to have me arrested. The amount due has changed amounts several times - it increases and decreases with each phone call as does the date change to make sure to fall within the 6 yr collection limit.

I got a call from this number saying the same thing... That they are verifying a name and address because someone filed a complaint and this is an attempt to serve an order to appear. This should not be allowed. You don't mess with people in that way.

I get these calls on a daily basis.  Here is the lowdown.  As David H. said.  He was once a collection agent and did these tactics as well.  Don't believe any of it.  I talked with the Credit Bureau and they said that our info is public for bill collectors to review and pass on the info.  The new thing is that scamming people out of their hard earned cash is overflowing these days.  Don't believe anything they tell you.  It is all lies.  If I create an LLC or DBA, I can pull anyone's info from the credit agencies and then go to ancestry.com or similar sites to find out who you or your people are and then harass you for your money for owing a debt.  The harassing part is not legal in any state and check your credit reports for old debts that you or a spouse had years back.  These people are using old debts to collect on illegally.  I could go on and on but please put 2 and 2 together.  You are being played on or scared into giving up money and will still have to pay the debt if you have one to the real creditor that you owe.  Don't give anyone anything unless it is that creditor personally by phone or in person - yourself.. Good luck.. I just hang up or don't answer.  Then another scammer will call with the same info about serving me papers from a different number.. I don't care cause I don't scare.  Don't answer numbers you don't know..  SIMPLE!

Call blocker might be your  best bet.  Don't give them anything.  No information.  Nothing. They are scammers.

Total scam.  Ignore 'em.

They keep calling my house asking for my sister-in-law who has never lived with me or even in the same county, nor used my  phone number. They pull the same scam as others here wrote, about someone having to be home to be served papers, saying it is a legal matter and time sensitive. She went as far as to say she could stay the "order to serve" if my sister-in-law returned her call that same day. She left a phone number and a case number. They are clearly suggesting they are some official legal organization with punitive authority, which crosses the line. REFUSE TO TALK WITH THEM.

We got the same scenario: case number, call within 2 hours, etc. Scum. They should be hung be some appendage out where wildlife could feast on them. We did not respond.

Just received a call from my Ex.  (who by the way is remarried).  I haven't seen him for over 30 years.  As stated above, this person call my ex's home asking about me.  Not only are they going to cause problems with his household, but is overstepping their boundaries by trying to contact someone from my past.  They should not have gotten them involved and I don't even have his home number.  I pulled up my credit report and do not see any account this creditor is saying I have.  They have got to stop and is violating our right to privacy with these awful threats.  They even gave him a case number which I do not even know who these guys are.

Keeping getting calls from the very same number. I was wondering if they are private calling your house then why are they leaving a number for you to call back on. It is a scam do not believe what they are saying. I once told them that I would be giving the case number and their number to my lawyer and local police. It stopped for a couple of months then it started back up.

I have had calls from some sort of this scam before, This is a private residence.  Never call again no one will respond to this type of phone call ever.  The last time they said it was going to cost me 4,400K to get me off the hook.  Please!

Let me give everyone the low down. I too received a call from P.A.R. (855-528-6100). They, like so many others, are collections agencies that mainly deal with payday loans. I briefly worked for one of these type companies several years ago (yes I know and I'm ashamed). We used legal terms and scare tactics to get people to pay up.

1st off,  when was the last time you heard of a process server calling someone to give them a head's up about being served?  Legitimate process servers will just show up unannounced and at the most will leave a business card on the door if nobody answers. 2nd, learn the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act). Collectors are not allowed by federal law to intimidate or insinuate that you'll be arrested. You can sue them if they do (its either a $1000 or $1500 fine per offense). Also, for them to say that "youre going to be taken to court unless you pay up now" is walking a fine line.  

Do not be intimidated by these clowns. I've been called numerous times over the past 2 years about a payday loan I never took out and every time they call they tell me the same thing. 2 years later and I'm still waiting to be 'served'.  I even had one guy on the phone tell me that I will be served at my home in 30 minutes so I waited and waited and as I expected nothing happened. Its all a bunch of b.s!

The next time one of these idiots calls you, have some fun with them and call their bluff. They will eventually get frustrated and hang up. Unfortunately, by law they can keep calling you unless you mail them a cease and desist letter (do it certified mail).

Whatever you do, DO NOT give them any money or any personal information whatsoever!

I received a call from a private number. They gave me 855-528-6100 to call back. They also gave me a case number. These people will tell you that they are going to send people out to your home, your work, your friends and family to have you located. They tell you that you are going to jail and they need to serve you papers unless you settle this debt now. I told them I didn't know of the company and they continue to harass.

My Ex boyfriend's( from 8 years ago) dad had this number calling him saying they were looking for my now husband, bc they had criminal charges on him. I called the number back, they 1st stuttered when I asked what company I was calling. After the 3rd time they said Performance Asset Recovery. The number was 855-528-6100. When I asked what the company did they said they handled legal suits & criminal suits against individuals. When I googled the company it said they helped people settle their debt. Either way, please tell me why a company would be looking for my husband through my ex boyfriends parents cell numbers, when I haven't had anything to even do with them in more then 7yrs... Weird

This is a Zombie Bill Collector on a fishing trip. Do not cooperate and do not give them your number or anyone else's number. Their harassing relatives and near namesakes is illegal. They are Performance Assets Recovery and claim to be located in San Diego. The person they are trying to reach through me has a common last name. Nothing more. I started calling them once every half hour to discuss the case number they left in their message and threaten them with legal action, so now they hang up on me!!! Lol!!!

I got a l call too.  When it showed private on my phone, I chose not to answer it.  About an hour later, my daughter called me and said they had called her and I had 2 hours to respond at 8 pm on a Friday night.  I just laughed and told her I would check the number out here on the internet.  Only a file number was given and they asked for me by "plantiff" not by name.

I received a phone call saying I have to appear, I asked appear for what?? They said it was for just money owed!! TRUST ME THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! I have contacted a detective in iur town we live in and this is just something these people think they can scam money out of u !  This is the 7th phone call we have gotten this year!! The detective reassured me that if there was a problem it would cross his desk and never has!!! SCAM all the way!!

I am getting phone calls from them on my cell phone, my house phone, and my parents house, of which I haven't lived in 13 years. How do you get them to STOP?

I received a call today from this number:  951 579 4301

They said I had a summons and asked me for my address to serve.  I asked who they were they said they were calling on behalf of summons and wanted to make sure I was there between 9 am and 4 pm to receive it.  I said they can deliver it to the address they have and I asked them what address that was.  The address they gave me was the one on my company website.  They asked for me by my legal name from the start of the call.  I told them to serve it there and I wanted to see the paperwork, they kept asking me for another address then they gave up and said it would be served there.

They must have taken the info off my company site and called my company 800 number there.  They seem to be seeking personal information on people.  

Only a court or legal professional like a police officer (sheriff) or a county official like a clerk of court can serve a summons.  This must be don't by a government entity and they will never call to see if you are there.  They will visit your location many times to ensure they give it to you personally as is required by law.  This is a scam

YES ITS A SCAM. PERIOD. N WERE SUEING THEM FOR SURE RUDE AS N****S AS WELL.
