Do not answer 855-580-5857 either.  It is a scam from the same 855-580-2764 people.

I wish I had thought to Google phone numbers sooner! Anyone legitimate will follow all necessary fair debt collection laws. And threatening people is not listed as fair. I will keep all of this information in mind from now on.

It' s a debt collector.

I received the same message from a Jessie Clarke telling me that I needed to call the number  (third party) and give a statement about a complaint.  I was given a case number.  After I checked my credit there is nothing listed for this "third party".  This is illegal.

This "company" is a complete scam...not licensed or registered to do business in any state., DO NOT PAY THEM>..the law requires they send you a notice of debt within 5 days of their initial call to you, they don't....try asking them for a physical address (they won't give you any address - because they are not legitimate)  law enforcement is investigating them and all their employees currently.  DO NOT PAY THEM>.. they cannot do anything to you, can't arrest you, sue you, "serve you" , all they do is falsely threaten you to try to scare you into paying them... don't fall for it.  Report it to your State Attorney General, so all complaints across the nation can be gathered for federal authorities as well as state.  record all conversations where legal.

It's a scam; ask them to provide you with a debt validation letter.  They have to by law before you pay them a dime.

I received a message from them this morning from an unknown or blocked number referenceing a case number stating all you said as well as that something was in pre-litigation but I had the right to contact the opposing party at the 855-580-2764.  So I called and the company name of Capital Management Solutions (automated greeting) answered.  I hung up but am wondering should I call this number or disregard.  Please advise what you may think.

This company called home, office and even relatives threatening to serve with papers. Contacted the company they claim to be collecting on behalf of and was told they never use outside collection agencies. Please beware, this company is using illegal debt collection practices with hopes for people to pay up when placed under threat of arrest. Advice, if you know of a debt that may be attempting to collect from you, contact them directly before speaking with any third party collection agencies. The legit guys will state the name of the originator of the collection request and will never leave threatening or imposing phone calls.
