They are still at it. Just got a call from them. A female asked for me. Same spew, same lies. SO WATCH OUT! Claims I took ad out 2012. Wanted to know if  I wanted to cancel. I yelled at her not to call again, then hung up.

Called the church where I work, He said someone had notified them we wanted to cancel our listing and He was just verifying we still did and needed to do this to cancel, etc..  They asked for me directly.  I just told him that We have never done business with them before and hung up.  Usually that works.  Sometimes you get a snotty one and they will call right back and start being nasty.  I just hang up and if they call right back I just let the answering machine get it.  We usually get at least one a month.

Just got a call, from this # 855-592-5733, I have been putting up with these scams for the past few years, they did pull one over on me one time but never again! I just told the lady that called from the above # that this was b***s***e! thanks for the call but it' s BS and hung up. what these scammers are hoping for is that there are more than one person handling the marketing or managing the accounts so they can catch you off guard. If you have never heard of the company that is calling and in some cases even if you have heard of them DO NOT AGREE to anything do not let them record you for quality assurance (that's how I was scammed, the lady spoke so fast and with a foreign accent that I had actually agreed to something that I didn't' know I had) because it can and will be used against you, if you are not sure hang up, Google the company in the case of this company Google the phone #.

417-800-2346 CALLED SAID WE OWE 450.00 FOR ONLINE AD

Same as everyone above. This is the second time this week they called. The guy this time claims they hadn't called me before. They said they'd be sending an invoice by mail and I said, "Great, at least I'll be getting something from you in writing." They claimed all business is done by phone and they'd turn my name over to the "Advertising Team" to get me the original voice recording authorizing their service. He said he'd personally pull my listing if I'm not contacted in 24 hours.

Jen - I've received a call from Network Solutions as well, and I think they're a different company.
On a side note, I didn't get any of these types of calls before I signed up for a Manta listing.

Watch out. They will use a different company name and phone number to call you. They called me originally from "Net solutions" or "Network Solutions" at 877-855-5720, then today they called from "Web USA" 855-592-5733. They gave their website address as www.webengineusa.com, which has nothing really "ad" like on it. I told them that they need to provide us with a written and signed contract, or our Board of Directors will not approve payment to them. Totally ridiculous! Be mindful of them and their many company names and numbers.

Got a call from this number this afternoon. Same basic information as in the other posts. I told her that if she sent me a copy of a contract with my signature on it I would consider her claim. She said that everything was done by phone. I responded that I had not authorized anything by phone for three years. She said she would turn it over to her superiors for investigation and I hung up.

This is similar to calls that I receive in February and last Fall. They threatened legal action. So far nothing has happened. I called the number 866-562-9455 and it was no longer in service. There is also a report with the BBB.

I just got a call from same number saying "I understand you don't want your company listed on line, we are just confirming that and putting you on "Do Not Call List".  When I confronted the caller I'm not aware of any listing. He said it is on line for a year and bill is going out in few days. I told him "this is a fraud" he kept interrupting me. I hang up. This wasn't the first time I receive this call.

They just called me and said i apparently wanted to close my account and i had to pay my 2 year advertising fee of $400~ or something like that.  its the second time they called me, last time was about a year ago with the same scam.  i just reported them to the FTC but i don't expect them to do anything.  last time i reported a obvious scam to the FBI website they didn't do anything about that either.  our fraud regulatory agencies are a joke.

A second ago someone called and ask to speak to the office manager, I told her "that was me". This woman on the phone proceded to tell me someone at their company got a call from my company to cancel the advertizing service we had done for the last year. (I don't advertise) So I smell a scam. Then she says, "would you like for me to cancell your sevice"?
She procedes to tell me she'll need some information to cancel the service. At this point I know it's a scam and hang-up and called the federal trade comission.
Call this number at the FTC and report it, it only takes a second 877-382-4357

I received a phone call from same number 855 592 5733, asking me to pay illegal charges

This is a SCAM! - I was called 10 minutes ago by them, just told the caller that I'm way sharper than they are and to try this on someone else!

Just got a call from 855-592-5733 saying our company is listed in their online directory and someone from our compny called to cancel the listing so they were calling to verify and close the account.  We never had a listing in their online directory called "USA WEB".  I looked it up and there is NO USA WEB--(only variations of it..)  If I can't see my supossed web listing, how is anyone else going to find it????    Didn't authorize any, and not going to pay for any.  TOTAL SCAM, she wanted us to pay for services rendered. HAHA Good luck wench.
