I called the number back, it is Wells Fargo and the recording said it was for a "special promotion". Gave an option to be removed from their marketing list, which it took and ultimately entered my number. Said it would take up to 5 business days to remove, up to 30 days to be removed from their marketing database.

The federal government's "Do Not Call Lists" seem to do no good for this number and so many others lately...

If WF is selling your info to their "affiliates," you can check with WF to see if there is a way to opt-out of these kinds of offers. Or look through your WF profile online for an opt-out webpage. Or change banks.

I have been getting calls from this number several times every day for about 2 weeks. Have not answered waited for message, No message ever left on machine. I answered today and it was for a Home Warranty Program for Wells Fargo customers. I am so tired of my bank companies selling my number it makes me sick my phone is always ringing for solicitations.
