The other number is 704-909-6666. The same story as the others on this site report has happened to me.

I have just experienced this with the same people. I have a word document from Olivia Pratt with a mailing address of 900 N. Main St. Lancaster SC but the telephone number 704-909-6666 is a Charlotte NC number.

Got a threatening message for someone I know. The caller stated her name was Cynthia Brown. I tried calling the number back, but was only given a way to leave a message. The message stated something about a summons for two counts of fraud.

I also was paid a call from an Olivia Parnell, who threatened my grandparents with a warrant for me if I do not pay them $950.00. Also they are misrepresenting attorney representation. They somehow stole my information from years ago and tried to placate a real collection agency. If anybody has a warrant is Ms Parnell for violating the Fair Debt and Collection Act as well as committing fraud. I smelled something fishy during the phone conversation, so I had them send over the paperwork via email and it was so bogus that it appeared as though a first grade student had written it. Also the email address she used was from a yahoo alias, come on!!! reallly? No companies would utilize a public domain email alias such as a Yahoo account. I also requested the name and number of the attorney they are 'using', no answer as of yet( surprise, surprise ).
If I ever find out who Olivia Parnell really is, she will have a lawsuit on her hands.
FYI, Here is the supposed company's information:

Don't you think that it would be in their best interest to follow the laws and FDCPA also? I don't see any direct admission or acknowledgment of the debt except that she NOW knows of it's existance. All I see is that she had to explain that it was an 8 year old debt they were trying to get her to pay, but not necessarily hers since there is no cooperative validation by them. Is it in fact hers or another attempt by a zombie debt collector to goad someone into paying for something else. Should she blindly pay any amount to any and all who calls her and claims that she owes it? Is the debt beyond the legal SOL in that state? Have they provided written verifiable validation of the debt in accordance with the FDCPA? When the collector has violated the laws in attempting to collect a debt that may or may not be valid, how can you imply that it is not right for her to demand information, validation and the details of a bogus court date illegal threats, and the right to defense? They have violated every unethical practice in collecting an unvalidated and improperly notified debt and yet SQ42 is portrayed by you and the bad guy, as the thief? Is defending herself in accordance with the FDCPA and demanding written validation of the debt as well as at least getting addresses and information to dispute the debt in what ever manner is available to her, somehow inappropriate? Why is lying and using threats of arrests, jail, and total disregard of the FDCPA an advantage to be enjoyed by the collector, and yet you apparently believe that a sense of self concious implied guilt should be the burden of the person who simply wants to exercise her right to laws as layed out for the benefit of the defendant. As far as stealing, I suggest that it is the collector who has stolen the rights of privacy and the rights of defense from SQ42, and you are in no position to judge what is in her best interest. I suggest that they have not only stolen from her, her rights, but that you are also guilty of theft in your shill abetment of their attempts at what most people would consider extortion. You bottom feeding, belly crawling, low life.....I suggest that you should pursue a more ethical line of collections..

SuzyQ42 you just admitted in your staements that the debt is yours " I had to explain to both of them that this is an 8 yr old debt" "I also advised them they'd violated not only my privacy by giving detailed information to persons other than me". Dont you think it would be in your best interest to pay your debt? otherwise that what many would call stealing.
Kevin 2012-10-16 19:36:18 Unknown
Excellent SQ42!!! Kinda puts a stick in their spokes. You are now in a position to have some fun with them should they continue to call :)
The cease and desist is gooooood. Remember: "Sampson slew a thousand phillistines with the jaw bone of an a**".........You have just taken away their most valuable weapon.....
Good luck...and don't tell anyone but I had to look up SHILL the first time I heard it too...

Your real name is Stu Pid, right?
SuzyQ42 2012-10-16 19:22:15 Unknown
I just called them back to get their mailing address so my attorney could mail a cease & desist letter, but they refused to give it to me. IMAGINE THAT!! A legitimate company would give me their mailing address, no questions asked. I told her the call was being recorded and she said 'Oh really, it is huh?' Guess she doesn't believe me. LOL!!! What losers!! So sad you have to resort to being lower than a snakes belly to make a living. Frankly, I'd rather prostitute myself out than work for trash like them...........

2. a person who publicizes or praises something or someone for reasons of self-interest, personal profit, or friendship or loyalty.

You are quite right SQ42. They blew their legitimacy out the window when they threatened you in the manner that they did.....good job

The call I got today was from Arbitration Services and I spoke with "Tammy Hatcher". She'd already called my mother and told her I had two felony cases against me in Harris County TX, then she called my Supervisor at work and told her the same thing. I had to explain to both of them that this is an 8 yr old debt and I do not have any felony charges against me. I called and spoke with Tammy Hatcher and just let her go on and on, then asked her a few questions, like what the attorney's name is, what court it will be filed in, etc. She called me a smart a** and hung up. When I found out they called my supervisor, I called them again, on a RECORDED line, and got a "Paul Morrison". I explained it was a recorded line and advised if they called either my parents house or my employer again, I would sue them. I also advised them they'd violated not only my privacy by giving detailed information to persons other than me, but also the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
These people are fake. The actual name of the company is Ross Delong & Associates, located in FL and they are a debt collector. If they call you, DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING. They are nothing but leeches who buy old debts and try to collect them years after they are no longer on your credit. There is NOTHING they can do to you about them. If you start making payments on these old debts, they WILL go back on your credit showing you've paid them off or are making payments and will bring your credit rating down. Please, please, PLEASE, do not let their scare tactics affect you or worry you. They have no legal right to have you arrested or put in jail or anything else.

You don't know how to look up a word on the internet? Hint: it's a lot like looking up a phone number except it's a WORD.
Or ask your mommy or daddy.

What's a shill??
gfo 2012-10-16 01:26:06 Unknown
I received a call from this number saying my daughter had a case against her for fraud and had to call immediatly. She said it was for a fraud case then I had another call saying it was a summons for a formal complaint. My wife's cell was even called. Called my daughter to see if she had any legal actions against her and she told me no. So I will call them and see if I can threaten them as well.
Ugly 2012-10-03 20:15:52 Unknown
ughmmmmm. Yeah....I'll bet. You are either someone having a little fun acting like a shill or you are really incredibly stupid... Maybe both.

Well Teresa, did you thank them for calling and pack your bags? Ask her what part of the USA would this debter's prison be located....so you can catch a cab?
Some of these scammers are so phoney that they make you have to laugh at them. That ole gal was probably sitting at the kitchen table in her underwear shaving her legs......ugh gross.
Anyway, always have fun with them and keep smiling.
