All they have to do is "say" they are a charity or religious organization and they think people won't clue into what they really are.... I'm sorry but I can't deal with these scum bags.... I hope everyone who reads this thread knows that I am not attacking posters, I am attacking the industry, because that's all it is... a money generating industry that benefits few and scams millions.

I would agree with gollum, as well as you, snyper. Religious groups are exempt from DNC and are not required to maintain an internal DNC list. Blocking is really the only option.

Benny Hinn is a fraud and a shyster. I would not trust him or his minions to do anything they say they will do. Just block the number.
And I'm not just blowing smoke out my butt... I can produce proof

Ignoring the truth is not going to make it go away. The truth will set you free. Please consider what gollum said not as a personal attack, but as an attempt to help you understand that Benny Hinn and all televangelists like him are only in it for the buck... Joel Osteen, Joyce Myers, Peter Popoff.... they are all cut from the same cloth... moth eaten, grimy and moldy.
| snyper 2014-03-01 22:41:53 Unknown |
And please read gollum's response to AD above. You would be better off just blocking the number as these wolves in sheep's clothing cannot be trusted.

Please see what I wrote to the person above you. You can get on their "Do not call list."
| AD 2014-03-01 22:32:27 Unknown |
Here's what you do to get the calls stopped. Don't answer when the phone rings. It will usually only ring about 4 times. After the phone has stopped ringing, call the number back that is on your caller id. You'll hear a recorded message about the work that Benny Hinn Ministries is doing. At the end of the message, you will be given some options: 1) Make a donation, 2) Reduce the # of contacts you receive, and 3) Contact the office. Select option #2. Then there will be another menu with options. Option #1 is to reduce the # of calls to 2x/yr. Option #2 is to add your number to their "Do not call list." Select option #2. You will be prompted to enter your 10-digit phone #. Then the computer voice will repeat what you have entered and ask if it's correct. If it is, you'll hear that your number has been added to their "Do not call list." Give it a few days. If you still receive phone calls, either report them or call them, select the option that says "contact the ministry," and complain (I don't know if this option takes you to a person or not). I've just had my number added to their "Do not call list" and hope that no further action will be necessary. Christian ministries need to be respectful when people do not want to hear from them. If they are not respectful, then they need to be held accountable.

I was just now able to get through to the Benny Hinn Ministries. The woman who answered was very nice and I asked her if the ministry had an 855-670-3965 number, she didn't know but said to hold on and she would call it. She said yes it was a number they use asking for donations. I advised her that since Feb. 1 I've received 12 calls from that number and consider it as harassment. She said she would pass the information on to her supervisor and have my number taken off the call list. That may be a stretch, but it has been a pain. The ministry number I called to reach this rep. was 1-800-433-1900. Have a Happy and Healthy 2014.

The number 855- 670- 3975 has been calling me for the past two weeks morning noon & late afternoon. I do know who the Benny Hinn ministries are and Lee thanks for that info. I plan on calling them as soon as I complete this message, but I'm not going to use that number. It rings in three times and then disconnects, they never leave a message.

Hello
12 Jan 2013
Saturday - 1110 AM
We received a phone call from: (800 SERVICE 855-670-3975), according to our "Caller Id" and these people were using our name and the "Benny Hinn International Ministries" with their taped recording, to convince us that we needed to send them $75.00 to $100.00 to help Benny with a finacial crisis.
RED FLAG
As the conversation started; the caller to our phone, introduced himself as - (Beranrd) and he wanted us to listen to a recording that "Benny Hinn" had made for (his partners). We have never given to Benny Hinn Ministries. RED FLAG
After listening to their recording, I was ready to speak to (Bernard) again, only now a (woman) came on the phone line saying that Benny Hinn was in a international financial crisis and he needed all of his "Partners" to give a "special seed" this month to help with his International ministry in Indonesia, Africa and other parts of the world.
I asked the woman what is your name - (no response) and the woman said; "Even though you told me you are disabled and cannot give at this time; could you "give a seed" possibly in the next 2 to 3 weeks to help Benny with his crisis need. I told the woman NO - stop asking for money.
The woman then hung up. I turned around and contacted the "Benny Hinn Ministries" and (they told me they do not use this phone number) and have never put out any solicitation over the phone without first contacting our "Partners" through the mail.
OBVIOUSLY. THIS IS A SCAM WITH > RED FLAGS < EVERYWHERE.
Welcome to 2013 Folk's...
"Be on your guard" about these (LOW - LIFE'S) looking to (CON) people out of their hard earned money.
