Consumer debt in America is a civil matter, not criminal. You've heard threats which make the collector liable to you in a *real* court case. First work on choking off the nuisance calls in a dispute letter. Then warm up a nice FDCPA lawsuit. You have to do the work, or hire counsel, who should work on contingency if your case is solid.

It is indeed a scam. it has been going on for quite some time now and I guess your turn cam up. You need to file a report with the FTC. This board is for information and discussion purposes as has no means of stopping your caller. sorry

This number keeps calling me about a summons and warrant for me!! I did my research and some legal company told me this was a scam. I want to report this and i also want them to stop calling me

They called me twice today and mentioned a warrant and a summons to court with the number 43766-FL.....They do this about 3 months out of a year and they call my work number.
