I received the same call but they will not give me any info. I asked for the account number they have on file for me and they said it was there evidence and they would not disclose

It was a call stating that I need to pay and they where going to file charges against me

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as ?Investigations?

This is nothing but a collection agency
They answer the phone "investigations" , once you ask for any information about the company they hang up... A MRS. WARREN who won't give her first name .. Gave a fake badge number . I gave it to my New Jersey Attny generals office ... They have ALOT of complaints about this place.
These people are debt collectors , I have also notified my local police station. They stated this person is falsely impersonating investigators , officers and attnys.

I was asked by my attny general to give her " fake " badge information to the FBI.
I will be doing that this week.

I just called again and they answered the phone BMG ?!?!?

Caller stated I was involved in check and bank fraud. I used my info and someone else SSN. Kept saying they couldnt hear me and hung up. Asked where they was located 1st said N.Carolina then said Marion County. I told them I was on my way downtown to see whats going on they told me to stop asking questions and hung up. Total me it was alot of red flags on this account and I will possible be going to jail. Also stated that my information was given to someone else and that he couldnt do anything for me.

Total scam.   Warrants are only issued by judges to duly constituted law enforcement agencies on the basis of probably cause that someone has committed a criminal act.  You cannot be arrested for ordinary civil debt.   They are just trying to scare you.   Don't pay them anything and don't return their calls.  Block them.

Caller stated that I owed them money but offered a fictitious/incorrect social security number. Stated they had video surveillance of me.

Looking for former daughter in law

Caller threatens to swear out warrant if old charged off debt is not paid by a certain time of that day. They just answer the phone "Investigation"
When I ask the name of the agency so that I can check them out, she acts like she cannot hear me and hangs up the phone. (Twice)
