Just called my landline in London, ON and chose not to leave a message on the answering machine.  No idea who called.

CALLS REPEATEDLY...ALL HOURS. I do not answer these numbers and they do not leave a message. Very aggravating!!!!

Phony debt collector trying to collect on very old already repaid debts. Do not answer or return calls. They will try to scare some money out of you, even if you already paid it off.

It's an election year and we are getting robo and calls for political party donations almost daily. Will bet this is exactly what these calls are. We don't have any debt or late on any type bill, so I am CERTIAN it IS NOT debt collection.

Either political party or charity org wanting donations. Am 99.9% sure of it...and you can't get off the lists! Once you donate even 10 cents, your name is sold to every charitable org out there and more?arrrg!

Get a magic Jack, those numbers are never listed or sold and there is a little program you can add (use mine for Business) that will block a gazillion numbers! (Magic Features Plugin)

Good luck, and when giving to an org, be sure to tell them NOT TO SELL/GIVE your number/information to anyone.

Received a call from this number- DIDN'T RECOGNIZE NAME OR NUMBER ON CALLER ID - DIDN'T ANSWER AS I KNOW IT'S AN ANNOYING/HARASSING CALL. Guess Best Solution is NOT TO ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE OR GIVE YOUR PHONE # OUT AS IT IS BEING SOLD TO EVERY TOM DICK AND HARRY ahem Spammer OR SOMEONE THAT HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO WITH THEIR LIFE OR BUSINESS, AS MANY TIMES  IT'S A ROBO CALL OR INFORMATION ON LOWERING INTEREST RATES. ***THE DO NOT CALL LIST SURE DOESN'T WORK - ESPECIALLY AROUND ELECTION TIME WHEN ONE GETS BOMBARDED WITH POLITICAL CALLS AKA ROBO CALLS THREE FOUR OR FIVE TIMES A DAY.

I got the same string of numbers as noted above. A different number each day. I hope I have blacklisted them all now.

Just received a call from 855-785-7380
This time it is a from a Political Action Committee for Women!  I am so fed up, I really only have my landline 'cause it is linked to the computer. I usually do not have the phone plugged in. At times the fax machine answers the landline, which I find entertaining. The vast majority do not leave messages, very annoying!

Comcast is also useless to help.  I'm not sure why the phone companies can't do anything.  I, too, can only block 10 numbers on my handset and the phone company won't block numbers, so I'm wondering why consumers are having to pay their phone bills when they are suffering harrassment?  They have started to call my cell phone, too, which is  number I give to only a handful of people, but at least there is a block app for that that seems to be unlimited.

Why isn't the FCC concerned about this?????

OMG, that is hilarious!  I am TOTALLY going to start doing that if I end up answering one of these most annoying calls.  Years ago, before the DNC list existed, my husband would answer and offer to tell the caller "a bit about Jesus", and that usually brought the call to a halt.  I love the homicide bit even better!  :)

So far I have received calls from seven different 855 numbers.  I keep blocking them and then the next day another comes through with a different number.  I hope they don't have too many more numbers because I can only block ten.  They ring twice and then hang up.

They let it ring three times then quit. I haven't answered it.

These such of @#$%^&* call every day and alternate phone numbers.  Should be a law against these $%^&*(*    The mighty loser  AT&T phone company says there is nothing they can do.  They sure can take your money each month. They offered to switch me to a cell phone for twice the price. Go figure.

I have been on do not call,( complete joke) list for years but I get at least 50 calls a week or more.  No messages ever left and when I pick up the phone I tell them I am a police officer investigating a homicide that occurred at this address and question them.   Who are you ?  What is the nature of your business with the deceased ?  How long have you known him?  I need to speak with your supervisor !

Freaks the hell out of them and if someone is here when I do it it becomes very hard to keep from laughing

These 855 numbers have been calling all day for weeks, I don't answer.  But they are so annoying.  I wonder how many people fall for their scam whatever it is?   They call early in the morning, late at night and on Sundays

I get these ----call three times a day and getting tired of it.

I received a call from 855-769-9872 they never leave a message I have caller id# so I can check to see who's calling me. They also called me yesterday have know idea who these people are, but I wish they would stop calling it really get annoying after awhile.

Received a call at 8:10AM from 855-769-9872. I answered it and man said it was from National Autism Organization. I asked him if he realized it was 8:10 in the morning where I was and he said yes it is 8:10 where I am too.  He started his spiel and I said not thank you and hung up the phone.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

called today and asked for me. they mispronounced my last name, so I knew it was not someone who knew me. I said I wasn't available. They asked for my husband. Said he wasn't available either. I asked, who was calling-she said Tracy something for the Autism Foundation. Then she hung up.
Finally found out who was calling. A few seconds later my phone rang again, it was 855-785-7380. When I said "hello", they hung up.  Could it have been the "autism foundation" again? with a different number?
This is getting old. They call and I block that number and then they call again. Everyday, I have to update my call block list because they are constantly using a different 855 number.
