This number calls every day.  It comes up as a private call.  Usually no one answers when you say hello.  Sometimes they ask for a household member and we hear laughing and they hang up.

Yep, I put all my numbers on the Do Not Call list, and these 855 numbers still keep calling.
So much for being on the Do Not Call list.
Although, I think there are supposedly some stiff fines for calling numbers on the Do Not Call list, but prosecuting them is more than most people have time to do.
Since there are lawyers that specialize in everything from asbestos cases to SS disability cases, there might be some that specialize in DNC violation cases too.  The settlements from them might not be big enough to attract the lawyers though...
Meanwhile, I just continue to block them all, and eventually they will stop calling.  They always do!

Get a call from this number at least once every day and evening.  I put the home phone number on the No Call list but this is still happening

This is not the National Rifle Association. It is another liberal trick to aggrevate the voters of this country. The NRA does not use an answering machine or service. This is to intimedate you so as it will cause friction between voters and the NRA. You know the game. Don't let it work on you.

They keep calling and leaving a message about being part of a Diabetes Test for Dr. Rick Wagner? Um, what?!?!? Stinking losers.

Contact the federal trade comission to stop these calls and blow the whistle on these punks. It is untrue joing NRA will stop these calls, we are a part of the NRA and still get these ridiculous calls.  Pretty sure its a stolen number because when I call back there is no way to speak with someone.  Any other NRA number we use we are able to contact someone

Well, NRA or NRA, neither should be calling me. If it is debt recovery, I had a bout with them harassing me because somehow I and my number at MY HOUSE that I bought AFTER divorce, was the "contact number" for my ex husband's cousin who does not even live in this state. I say...fraud...get her! :)

I called the 855-801-3254--It says "Thank you for calling the National Rifle Association." BTW, they were very sorry they missed me! aaahahah

All you people who think this is the National Rifle Assc are being punked,  This is the "spoofed number" prank.  The caller can make any number appear on your caller ID. They make it appear to be a legit organization to get you to call back.  Guess what, when you call the number back, they now have verified that your number is a good number and will sell it to other tele marketers.  This scam is being perpetrated by the National Recovery Association.  Google them, they are nasty.  I know many will say I am wrong, but you have been warned.  Do not call them back.   Block any anonymous calls.

This scam has made the news in my town over the misleading spoofed call back number.   I own a gun,  I hunt,  and I  am not a thug as you call them.  I am not a weakling nor do I hide behind a 12 ga. shot gun when I hunt ducks.  Your caller is spoofing the National Rifle association and when you call back the number they leave,  you will indeed get the national rifle association.  They would be a fool to give their own number.   Why in the world would any National Organization who is dependent upon membership and donations for their existence,  commit political suicide by pulling this stupid stunt.  Your call is a lowlife scam collector with the same initials (NRA)  and they are laughing their a***s off over fools like you that can't figure it out.

You might want to recheck your status on the Do Not Call joke List.    Businesses are not accepted on the Do Not Call Registry.  You may have attempted to register,  but you didn't make it.  Only private numbers.

They called with anonymous listed as name, So I answered..You have reached the _____ County police..and they hung up on me! Imagine that. lol

The caller ID says 800 Service.  800 Service calls almost every day including Sunday.  The phone rings 3-4 times and then they hang up.  There is no way to block them since they use a different number each time.
