this is the exact information they gave to my oldest daughter...lucky I started asking questions and realized it was a scam. just tried the same scam on my youngest daughter. I'm pissed they have to be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Not anything people here can do except preach and inform others to be aware of these people.  The rest is up to their own common sense.  Their goal is to scare people into paying,  even when they don't owe anything.
Once they started calling other people,  telling them the nature of why they are searching for you,  they violated the FDCPA laws.  Saying that you would be arrested and describing an alleged crime is unforgivable and illegal.  That alone should have told you that they are scammers.  They can call others in search of you,  but they can tell them nothing except that it is an attempt to collect a debt.   You have been scammed!  Now,  isn't it a great time to educate yourself about the "Fair Debt collections protection act"?    I say that because if they got money from you once,  you have proven yourself as a mark,  and they and others will be back for more money until they learn that you will no longer give to them.  Their threats become useless when you know your rights.
Begins by  Googling    FDCPA.   Then go from there.

Oh my God. These people have made my life a living hell. They contacted my friends, neighbors, and employer(s)past and present looking for me. Again, they identified themselves as CHS mediation and even called my parents and said I am about to be arrested for "writing bad checks and attempting to defraud a financial institution" neither of which I was guilty of! It caused a significant fight within my family as they now thought I was a wanted criminal! I was 6 mos pregnant at the time and on bed rest due to complications! They succeeded in scaring me, and I paid them their money but the emotional scars are still very much present dueto the harassment and extreme humiliation it caused me. Please stop these horrible people before they ruin even more lives!!

It is a scam. I could never get these people to mail me anything showing this debt. Called etc.gov the trade commission and found out this number and these people are a scam and the government is aware of what they are doing. If they cannot provide you with a things in writing before you start making payments call and find out if they are legitimate before you pay them. I am now out 170.00 and I had to close my checking account. It is also illegal for them to leave threatening messages or any personal information on voice mail.

i talk to a Mr.Kevin Matthews and he help me out wit a leagl situation and the Sheriff did show up at my job but Mr.Matthews got it taking care of before i almost lost my job they really do help you believe it or not

i recieved several calls from that number saying that i was going to be approached by a sherrif and i didnt believe them but about a week later i was at work and they approached me about this debt i was shocked i called back and they were kind enough to make arrangements for me! i dont know why people think its a joke or a scam its a REAL call about a REAL debt!!!

I received a phone call (855-806-6648 ext.102) to my job from investigator " Wanda Williams"  probably a fictitious name, to inform me about some bogus  tax lean she has arrange with the IRS to withheld my income tax or until I've made arrangements with her. But I have to contact her directly, I don't think so; that is the hook, once they get you on the phone, they will try to scare you with all kind of fabrications and half truths to get your money. If it sounds to good to be true, it6 probably is. They are a bunch of dispicable b*****ds.

This place is a scam.they buy your information.they hike up the price and charge you whatever that want.not what u borrowed.the people handling your information do not go thru background checks. They are hired without interview.they tell customers that they are located 900 main st Lancaster sc.they are located 7925 n tryon st Charlotte NC.its a bunch of offices in the building that does this kind of work.the owner of the place is Carolyn (716) 359-1187.she runs the place.im quite sure she will willing to talk to you all.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I was slammed by these people. it was an investigator reeves. . I made a Payment by credit card that I was told to purchase from Walmart.  I gave them all my personal information . what can I do now

I received a call today from Investigator Shauntelle Hall x 104.  The message was for my sister in law (who doesn't live with me and I don't speak to her ever) and threatened civil action including jail time.  When I returned this chick's call, I asked her what it was about and gave her the case number 258046.  She wouldn't say, since I wasn't my sister in law, and suggested I have my attorney call her.  While she was talking I googled the number and found this site and comments.  I'm wondering what would happen if I call back and said I was my sister in law...hope these guys get justice.

They called me saying the company.were going to fine me 5000 dallors if I didnt pay my old debt that.i owed. Im in the procces of filing bankruptsy and they said they could use it.against me in court saying thst im filing because of litigation charges. this debt was from 3 yrs ago. And they.scared.me.do bad that I gave them my card info so I could pay.it off so I wouldnt.have criminal charges. I called my lawyer.and told me they are just trying to scare me and cancel my card so I did.  My lawyer called them and they wouldnt give him any info so he sent them a letter tellung them to leave me alone. Havent heard from them since

They called our house this morning and my wife (That I've only been married to for 5 months) took the call. They gave her the whole civil matter, your husband will be arrested... scared the S**t out of her. I called them back, and was going to give them my bank info, but when he transferred me, we got disconnected (Thank god) I called my local police department and sherriff. The sherrif called them while I was on hold, and she gave me the procedure for filing harrassment charges.

They are calling my job, tell my employers about my debt.

Actually, all I would need is a supposed 'case number' that they were given so I can call and get information on them. the BBB can't do anything without a company name. I've been trying to take these scumbags down since last week. they keep hanging up on me unless I have a "case number" and they won't tell me the name of the place unless I have a "case" there. you don't even have to email me, just post the case number on here and I'll do something about it. I don't need anyone's personal information. not even your name.

If anyone chooses to send an Email to any unknown person,  they should first consider whether this too is a  phishing trip or scam.  Never use your own permanent Email address.  Anytime you see a Hotmail address,  it means that it is disposable and likely being used by a person not wanting to expose his true Email account identity.  In order for that person to do any good for anyone,  they must ask and receive certain personal information that will reveal your identity and a lot of information that you would not want to expose to a total stranger.  Anyone who is hanging around on this board for no other apparent  reason than to solicite business or information should put up a Red Flag. Makes no difference whether it is a business or not.  Be wary.

If you think that you would or could  trust a stranger,  with any information on yourself,  then you are making a chance that can turn into a big mistake.  If you seek sound advise and feel that you need help in stopping any threats,  then contact your local law enforcement authorities or a local attorney that you know for advise.

Also got calls from Tracy Anderson. She had my first name right but wrong last name which made me suspicious. She called me three times. One was a voicemail talking about the civil complaint with case number 302177 with the arrest threat and she called again while I was listening to the voicemail. I answered and she asked to speak to my husband. She had his correct first and last name. I explained to her that I didn't know who she was asking for and I asked if I needed to do research into indentity theft and she said no, this person had me down as a reference and she would remove my information from her file.

I called back to get more info and the message said I reached CSH Mediation. Phone number was 855-806-6648 ext 105

these people said I was in trouble for check frad I have never wrote a bad check in my life

They called me at work too.  What a bunch of losers.

These horrible people called stating they were going to arrest my  mother; I called her very upset considering I live in Florida and she in Georgia.  To later find out this is a Houx is a terrible thing to do to a family.

They are calling saying they are with Henry County Investigation and trying to prevent my arrest.  They called my daughter who is a doctor and upset her while working at her hospital claiming they were taking her mom to jail
