All telephone numbers with an area code beginning with an 8 followed by identical double digits are toll free. The fact that it is 855 number says nothing more than that. I have owned toll free numbers beginning with 800, 877, 888, and 855. Whoever owns the 855-839-2114 has dialed me several times, but they always hang up before saying anything.

I just received a call from an 855 number, no answer or message when I answered.  I'm in Colorado

BTW, I am in Utah.

They continually call me and hang up/no voicemail. OR, it's been an anti-gun thing...I'm annoyed.

I have also had many calls from several different numbers with the 855 area code. No one answers. Are others from Utah getting these calls? As Justin indicated, I suspect anti-Senator Hatch groups are sponsoring.

I got a couple calls from this one today. It was a recorded message criticizing Sen. Orrin Hatch about certain issues such as gun rights.  I think the message said to visit National Gun Owners A**'n. or something like that.

Called me 7 times today while I was at work.....no voicemail left so I'm not to worried.  But still 7 times!!!!!!!

another 855 call but I did not answer.  What is with all the different 855 numbers???
